The inside looks like any other balcony room. Here are a couple pics from the balcony. We would choose this room again.Does anyone have any photos of their balcony room on 11 floor you could share? Just booked Spa deck (11) for next year. Thank you. -
We rented a car from Hertz in Ponta Delgado a couple years ago. The Hertz office is in car dealer that you can walk to from the port, although it may have been a half mile.
All went well, would do it again.

On a related note, how far in advance is it best to book flights through Air2Sea? We have a TA cruise booked in May 2018 and the one way business class return fare is by far the lowest I've seen anywhere. Like 20% of the usual airline website prices. Is there any reason to wait a few months?

If the shareholder benefit is better than the perk you can get the shareholder benefit by declining the perk.
Example: On a 14 Day TA cruise my benefit was $100 for on board booking. I declined it and took the $250 shareholder benefit. Just wanted to make you aware of this.
You can keep any benefits that come exclusively from your TA.
We'll have to remember that. We have a 14 day TA on RCL booked in 2018.

We just got declined for the Shareholder benefit because we have a cruise booked that included the Go Big Beverage package. We understand that RCL does say they may not combine the shareholder benefit with some special offers so it is a known risk. Just wanted to give a heads up to others if you currently hold or are considering purchasing RCL stock.
Cheers!

The current policy still in place til 2014: unlimited wine and champagne (at embarkation and at ports of call), no beer and no liquor.
The wine is for consumption in your cabin, not in public venues excpet dining areas, bars and lounges where you will be charged an $18 corkage fee.
Thank you. And I guess soda and juice is good to bring on too?

I'm late to the party here- planning to book an October 2013 cruise on HAL in the morning and doing some research on policies and found this. My question is - If the new policy doesn't take effect until January 2014, what is the old policy or where can I find it?
Unlimited wine? At embarkation and ports? What about hard liquor? Beer?
Thanks -
How do you manage your house, pets, etc. while on such a lengthy cruise?

Another option for mail is to forward to Traveling Mailbox
They will scan and email a PDF of anything you want opened. The hold or discard the rest as you tell them to.
