  1. We have 7 days till embarkation and now when I log into the app it shows a spinning wheel thing which does not resolve itself. I can see chat feature, order feature but ship schedule and first screen just spin. Is this likely to resolve itself or should I uninstall the app and try again ? IOS phone. Cheers, Buzz.

    I agree, but $13K is for the same cruise with more elbow room and not much more amenity. It is only the minimum bid to upgrade. If I could justify it at the time, I would be all for it, but would rather spend 13K on more immersive tours than cabin space. I can see the temptation.

    I think, if some one can afford a 110 day world cruise,  another 6 grand pp  for more space is well worth it. Years ago we paid for an upgrade to a Penthouse Suite on Diamond Princess and loved the space, after previously cruising in balcony cabins. That cruise was only 8 days.

    There is a rub though. In most cases you are bidding for cabins that aren't available. All of the suites on this cruise are currently sold-out. We have also received the same offer for our February cruise, and the suites have been waitlisted for months.

    It just says Princess.com , no obvious sign of an outside mob sending the email. Princess Cruise Line  LTD , 24305 Town Center Drive, Santa Clarita , CA 91355. 

    Booked direct with Princess. When I booked , which was 527 days out, Suites were already marked as  sold out. 

    I wonder if, some one , not me, offered a gazillion dollars for the upgrade , would Princess then offer the encumbents a move over offer ?  Cheers, Buzz.

    One of the YT cruise channels I follow stated today that there is a new app coming December 1st that will replace the current app, which will sunset on January 31st. We'll see how good it works...

    I hope a new app will not lead to another 241 pages of issues ! Fingers crossed, cheers, Buzz.

If so I recommend going to the House Without a Key restaurant/bar at the Halekulani Hotel for sunset drinks and very nice bar snacks. They have a Hawaiian band and the night we were there they had a hula dancer as well. We really enjoyed it and would definitely go back again. 

    We arrive early the first day then overnight with an 11pm departure the next day. Thank you for your help. Cheers, Buzz.

  6. Hello , about 2 weeks ago I received an email from Princess advising of an Itineray change for Hawaii cruise.

    Purcased shore excursions would be refunded to original form of payment. I had paid for 2 excursions via my credit card , so I was expecting the refund to that card. The consultant told me the refunds had gone to my onboard credit. I queried this and was told, as I had on board credit, this had been pooled into my booked excursions ! The obc amount is exactly what I paid via my credit card.
