Does anyone know which ports in Norway require tendering? (Honningsvåg, Molde, or Kristiansand).  I know about the other ports that we are visiting.

I have heard a lot of concern about difficulty communication with Azamara via phone and systems issues.

Has this been resolved?

My wife and I are experienced cruisers and have not cruised Azamara yet.  However, some of the itineraries look interesting (especially interested in Kiel Canal and Guernsey).  I understand that the ships are older and can deal with that.

Recent cruisers-- have the communications improved?  Can you reach a Customer Service Rep easily?  Is resolution of issues easy and efficient?

We are sailing on Vision in January.

Pre-Covid, we would often be offered discounts for specialty dining for that night while lounging in Schooner Lounge or nearby.  Sometimes, it was a buy one, get one offer.  

Anyone know if these deals happen currently?  It was great to have a spontaneous offer like that and we would often go to the specialty dining instead of MDR.

We are looking to book a cruise for June, 2024.  We were told that once we paid deposit--no further reductions in price are possible (unless you cancel and rebook which may mean losing the cabin that you want).  Is this something new?  I know that you can get discounts with other lines (RCCL, Celebrity, etc.)

Thanks for the replies.  What made my nervous is that our long bus ride in La Rochelle doesn't say air-conditioned bus in the excursion description (where it does on others).  I may ask on board to be sure.

We are leaving tomorrow for the Enchanted 7-day cruise out of Southampton.  Considering the heat hitting France and Spain next week, I am thinking about those long bus rides. (La Rochelle, La Coruna, Bilbao)  I had assumed that all buses would be air conditioned, but wanted to see what others thought.

We are on the Jewel going to Norway in June.  For many ports--no excursions are listed yet.

We found that an excursion in Alaska had been cancelled by looking at our credit card statement.  When we logged into Pricess, also discovered that our flights had changed (and not in a good way).

Shouldn't we have received a communication from Princess?  Is this typical?

Flights are going crazy--lot of changes and many flights are "not part of Princess contract."  Not pleased with Princess.

We are booked on the Royal in May.  We are suppose to stop in Victoria, BC and dock in Vancouver.  No excursions are listed for Victoria and final payment is due this week.

Is it possible that Princess is planning to skip Canada totally and go on to Seattle, WA?

How easy is it to get into old town Edinburgh from the cruise port?  What is the approximate cost?

Why is there another facebook post that references a converation with a Viking agent that said that crew do not have to be vaccinated?  Why can't we get a straight answer on this?

What is concerning to us is that, if I read correctly, someone tested positive and was not allowed a second test (to see if the first was real or false).  There are several examples of false positive tests.

One false positive and many people are in quarantine for 2 weeks.  

Does Iceland allow for multiple tests?

If we are on a tour bus with say 30 other people and one tests positive, is the entire bus in quarantine?

We are really getting twitchy.  We are on the July 13 cruise, but our 15 day window to cancel is rapidly approaching.

My wife and I are looking at cruises for June/July 2022 and there are several gaps in the schedule:
 

Jewel of the seas--nothing between May 15 and June 8, or July 2-14 and Anthem of the seas has gaps as well.

Any clue what is going on?

We are arriving in Barcelona on a Disney ship and leaving again on a RCCL ship in Barcelona. I am pretty sure both ships will be using he Adosset pier.

How easy is it to go from one terminal to another? Walking distance (with luggage)?

Thank you all for the great advice.

We are going to Prague (pre-cruise) and then Budapest to Amsterdam (coming directly back to the states the same day).

Countries that we are visiting: Czech republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Netherlands.

It sounds as if ATM and fee-free credit card will work.

For the restrooms--coins or bills?
