  1. May be true for UK but not US. I've put over 1800 clients onboard MSC ships and I email very rarely. Only for such things as cancellations to have a record of it. Hold times are atrocious but after working with them over 10 years, you learn back doors.

Can you make bookings for UK residents too? US deals are so much better then what we get

  2. Are there any incentives to booking your next cruise while onboard or do they vary? Any experiences of when you have done this and what incentive you received? Trying to get an idea of a good deal. I’m from the UK if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

  3. Could you take a picture of your stateroom? We are in a fantastica balcony so bonus if you are too! Also can you find out if you can buy the drinks package for just one person, once onboard (I know online you need to buy for everyone in the stateroom). Enjoy your cruise!!

  4. Hi

We are thinking of buying the drinks package but does everyone in the room need to buy 1 each? It’s only for my husband for the beers [emoji16]. I am better off buying soft drinks as only have 1 with dinner.

On royal Caribbean, if you buy in advance you have to buy for everyone in the stateroom. But if you buy on the ship on the first day you can buy a package just for the one person.

Wondering if this is the same with MSC?

  6. 1) You can find a sailing with available cabins in the booking area and click on the stateroom details tab to see that cabin's dimensions. The common (not aft facing) Aurea "suites" have the same cabin square footage as balcony cabins. Most/all Fantastica suites have a little more cabin area as they are angled, but balcony size is decreased by the hot tub on the adjoining suites with hot tub. Fantastica suites 9002/3 and 14002/3 are larger. You would need to elaborate what "suite" type you are considering.

    2) Aurea cabins get the all-inclusive classic drinks package which includes alcohol. Most Seaview Med sailings are currently offering UK/IRL customers a very, very basic non-alcoholic "Drinks package" for Bella and Fantastica cabins:

    INCLUDED IN YOUR SELECTED CRUISE

    Drinks Package Included

    HOT DRINKS AND WATER INCLUDED

Complimentary mineral water, American coffee and/or tea during lunch and dinner in main dining room. reserved only for uk/irl guests

Thank you- we are looking at the fantastica suite or fantastica inside.

  7. Here's a couple of an interior 4 person cabin with 2 pullman beds on the Seaside. The pullman beds have a maximum weight capacity of 300lbs. This is a fantastica interior cabindbc2b392df08414c908dd47616f2be78.jpg1dc411f23330d7fcd3075e801ba36d2c.jpgc1edf6e1db3cd344f235388a9ff92690.jpg

Do you have any other pictures of the room? We wanted to know if we could fit in a travel cot for the baby?

  8. Hello so I have 2 questions:

    1. We are a family of 4 (2a, 2c 6 & 2 years old). Currently booked in an inside room but wondering if it’s worth it to pay £800 and upgrade to a suite? Internal space is our concern (not so much the balcony) but I’m not sure if we gain much internal space between a suite/ inside (also open to balcony room which is £600 more).

Have never sailed inside so no idea on the size, especially with a travel cot inside.

    2. We have the fantastica experience on the Seaview sailing in Europe in October 2019. It says we have a drinks package included but can anyone clarify what this actually includes?

    Thanks in advance!

  9. Can anyone make the dining options clear? I’m also new to MSC and sail on Seaview in 2019. Are there multiple options for breakfast, lunch and dinner or is it just the main dining room and buffet which is included in the rate? Thanks

  10. It's all about location and space.

Suites with Fantastica experience are on the "hump" facing to the rear or forward,

next to the Suites with whirlpool Aurea experience.

Suites with Aurea experience on deck 9 have large balconies.

Which is better for less motion- forward or rear?

  11. I have just left Seaview. The Best is to book a balcony in the middel or in the back of the ship. Close to the elevator next to the atrium. It is a fantastic ship.

Thanks- so would you say to just book a balcony room and save on the suite (its £200 extra)

  12. Hi I want to book a cruise and can’t find any difference between the suite and balcony room, other then slightly more space. Is there something I’m missing?

    Thanks
