As of now we are still planning on going on our September 8 cruise on Explorer of the Seas to Italy and Greek Isles. Thngs may change by then. As it stands now our airfare is cancellable with no charges and a future credit 14 days before we fly on Sept 3. I am hoping RC will keep on top of the situation and extend their Cruise with Confidence policy as the situation develops. Right now that policy only is good until end of July 2020.

We are from New Brunswick and its just too inconvienient and expensive to fly Air Canada to San Juan. We are booked with Jet Blue out of Portland Maine for April 2018. Its a 5 hour drive for us to get there and an overnight hotel stay but hotel provides free parking and transfers. Its easily half thecost even with the added expense of gas, meals and lodging. This will be our third trip doing this.

Pretty sure you will have no hope of making the Jolly Pirate excursuion. Because the ship time is back to EST, 8am on the ship is 9am local Aruba time they are AST and do not change for daylight savings time. I have already contacted them about this. They said as long as ship time is the same as Aruba time (which in your case it is not) then there would be no problem making their excursion provided you got off the ship promptly. Anytime after the time springs ahead in 2016 one would be ok to make their excursion

Trying to confirm what time Carnival uses on the ship, Would it be local time from when it leaves Fort Lauderdale or local time when it arrives in Aruba. The itinerary indicates we arrive 8am in Aruba, We are looking at an excursion that starts 9am Aruba time and if the ship uses local Fort Lauderdale time we would not be able to make the 9am Aruba time start as they do not change their clocks. Thank you

We are doing a back to back or side to side in Feb 2016 because we always wanted to do this and to maximize cost of travel and exchange travelling from Canada. Our trip will consist of an 8 day Southern on Carnival Conquest Feb 20-28 then a 6 day Western on Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas Feb 28-Mar 5.

Just booked our first cruise on Royal Caribbean and do not recall being asked what Dining option we want. Do you just go to the dining room when you want or do you need to book something like an early, late, or anytime dining option?
Canadians - what are you doing now that we're being advised not to cruise

Be careful of Air Canada's fine print, if you do cancel and rebook using future travel credit it must be used by Dec 31, 2020. Does not leave alot of flexibility especially if you rebook your cancelled cruise past the Dec 31 2020 date
