Need Advice - Best RCI Stateroom(s) for Family of 5

We have put off cruising since we have a family of 5 (haven't cruised since we were a family of 3) because of concerns about being able to afford a stateroom that will accommodate all of us and allow us to have a balcony. Looking for any advice for RCI stateroom options...would we be better booking 2 adjoining balcony cabins? Kids are ages 14, 9 and 8.
