Just finished a blog post on my Independence of the Seas cruise. I love doing reviews , and posting pictures of the Ships I've cruised on. Please take a look if you are interested:)
Great reviews, my darling wife and I will be on Indy,4/28, this will be our 3rd RCCl cruise. we have done 2 Carnivals, and last fall we did Disney's Halloween cruise with our DD,her DH, and the most darling little 3 yr. old Grandest, at wrapping Papa around her finger,little girl in the world to me. :) All were good some better than others. On the Disney Our little one got sick the 1st night and was at the ships Dr. next morning. She missed most of the great things for kids on there but we did get to go to the private island. With her and she made it to one of the themed dining rooms on the last night. For Christmas our DD suprised us with the deposit on advanced reservations on another Disney cruise to be determined at a later date,but it will be sometime in 2017! Looking forward to seeing how much more fun it will be if all are healthy.

We are booked on RCCI on 4/18/16 sailing and I just looked this morning. The fare has dropped on the same booking we have by $96.00. I see where people get excited about a "price drop" and was wondering if I could get the same price now & if so how?

Last Sunday--Feb 14--we self disembarked from the Allure at terminal 18 walked off the ship at 6:40 ish and were curbside checking luggage just after 7:00 am. Cabs were plentiful.
Cab fare was around $13:00 for a group of four before tip. We just handed the driver a twenty.
As for a 7:45 flight it will depend on your ship arrival and clearance.
We will be getting off Independence on the 23rd and our flight is Southwest at 10:30,if we dont make that flight it will be sit in terminal untill late that day for next non stop to Atl. I am hoping to prebook our luggage while on board and just walk off ship early as possible.
Panama Canal round trip?

We/wife mainly , are thinking about a cruise to the Panama Canal. We want to do a round trip not sail through and go on to west coast. Is that even possible? it has been at least 10 or 112 years since we did a cruise. And we never even thought of this before.
