I had the same issue on the Encore a couple weeks ago. I appreciate that they want to cater too the allergies but agree that they took it too seriously. I totally understand how your husband felt. 

We sailed out of there last week and it was fine. We spent the evening at Bayside the day before we left and it was crazy with people but no issues.

We are on Adventure at the end of March and our airfare went down today so keep an eye on it. Especially if you are flying Southwest. We are 50 days out and they are dropping fares. This particular one was available in the morning and gone after lunch so if you see a price decrease jump on it. :)

63 days!

We have gotten 2 "free" except for taxes and fees, cruises this way with our air fare paid for. Got us hooked on cruising. You have to have the time to sit through 90 mins of their talk and then put your foot down and say no you don't want to become a member but it was worth it for us. Hope that helps.
