  1. Birdnutty  this was the 2nd time we used Beeper MD.  Totally satisfied both times.   The tester arrived 20 minutes after the exact appointment time.  Two rapid antigen tests done in less than 5 minutes.  Results immediate and then they were e-mailed and texted within 15  minutes.  The tester was an absolute delight and I would use them again most definitely.

  2. We are on the 12/10 sailing on the Equinox.  We are using BeeperMD   they come to your house and do the PCR.   You pick the day and time.   They are coming December 8th at 8:30 am    Friends of ours just used them for their Symphony cruise and said they were great.  Had the results in a few hours

  3. We are on the July 31th sailing on the Edge    We live in Florida so we drive to port   Just wondering if anyone on the 6/26 sailing parked at the pier.   Thinking it was probably kind of different as to only one ship in port.   Just curious    Thanks

  4. HI.  We are doing our first Transatlantic crossing on the Koningsdam on 10/31.  Our hotel is less than a mile from the port.  Does anyone know the approximate cost of a taxi to that location?  I contacted the hotel who can arrange transportation for us .  Their price is 130 Euros.  Just want to know if that is in the ballpark of a fair rate or should I look at other options.  Again, been on many cruises but this is the first repositioning and we're kind of in the dark.  Thanks for your help

  5. Hi all We are big Celebrity and RCCL cruisers who have decided it's time for something different. We are currently booked on the 11/25 Nieuw Amsterdam for a seven day cruise, Just wondering what amenities are given in the bathrooms We are in a veranda on deck 8. Thx

  6. We are on the 12/11 10 day sailing. The cruise is not listed on Celebrity's website probably because it's sold out. It is listed on other cruise websites with a day in Dominica instead of the overnight in Barbados. Does anyone know if the overnight was taken away and replaced with Dominica? Thx so much

  7. We are also on the 12/11 10 day sailing on the Eclipse. Booked about 6 months ago, and even then thought it was a great price. We have $350 OBC and the drink package for both. I also see the insane price drops but I like to choose my cabin and mostly all of these prices are guarantees. From what I see the perks are pretty limited as well. We were in Concierge on our last cruise and I wouldn't do it again unless it was the same price and I could pick my cabin. I didn't see any big difference from Concierge to a regular balcony. We are mid-deck, mid-ship and that's where I'm happy. Granted some great deals out there

  8. I have always found shopping around on all discount travel sites works for me. I have always gotten great deals. We're on the Oasis this Saturday in Boardwalk balconies for an amazing rate plus $225 OBC per cabin. Pick your desired dates and then shop around. You never know who is offering what. I am loyal to no specific agency or the cruise line. I book with the best deal and have never been disappointed.

  9. One other tid-bit I forgot to mention. Attire in the dining room. I would say 90% of the gentlemen wore lovely silk shirts, button downs, and even smart looking tee shirts with dockers and khaki slacks. I saw very few jackets and ties. They all looked quite dapper as well as the ladies. Very few tuxedos on "chic" nights, some suits and ties, but the majority wore pretty much the same as they had been wearing. I also agree that the cruise director Jane was definitely lacking, but certainly not enough to hamper the wonderful cruise we had. Enjoy your cruising

  10. Hi all, just off this beautiful ship and wanted to share a few things. To begin with we had an amazing and most enjoyable cruise. We have over 50 cruises under our belts and this was by far one of the best. Now, in my opinion food was better than good, service was impeccable, the staff and crew could not have been more gracious, friendly, and helpful. Entertainment was a little lacking and the only negative I can say about our experience. For all of you who have hit the submit button to get your luggage tags (like me) numerous times and received nothing no worries. I never printed them out and when we got to port, from the time I said to one of the many porters there "I need luggage tags" to the time they were attached to our baggage was about 10 seconds. Again, great cruise and would do it again in a minute. Many people on board booked the same cruise for next year and even 2018. Happy cruising!

  11. Same story here. We leave Sunday on the Eclipse. I also ordered them twice from the website and received nothing. Was going to order them through the Captain's Club then thought forget it. Too close now. As we have done many times before we'll just have the porter attach them. No biggie, it's just a matter of principle. How can they not fix a glitch on the website since it affects literally all of their passengers. I guess tons of calls to the Captain's Club doesn't matter
