Please can anyone tell me if alcohol free or reduced alcohol wine is available by the glass onboard NCL Star? If it is available, is it included in the UBP?

I've sailed with NCL several times but this time I'll be on medication that doesn't mix well with alcohol :(

NCL has recently had St. Regis and Ariel NA wines available.

Hi, I was given the UDP free as part of my booking on NCL Star but I rarely drink alcohol. Please can anyone advise me on what's included in the package for non drinkers?

My husband likes a drink or 3 so his needs are covered nicely.

Hi, please can someone advise me?

I have a flight/cruise package on P&O Oceana which leaves next week.

The flights are with Thomson from Manchester to Genoa; is it possible to check in online without a Thomson flight booking number? If not, is there a charge for airport check in?

I have a booking ref. with P&O and with my travel agent but nothing for Thomson except the flight number& time. I have been trying to ring P&O and my agent but they're constantly engaged, I know there'll be someone on CC who's got the answer

Has anyone recently returned from this cruise? Can you advise me?

Tinsoldier & JulieNicker, thanks for your input. FYI: I am perfectly relaxed and excited to cruise with p&o. Eating in the buffet or in Genoa is fine [emoji3]

I simply asked if there were any other dining options on embarkation day.

I've cruised many times on several different cruise lines over the years and usually there is an alternative to the buffet for lunch. This is my first time on p&o so I just wanted to check my facts.

That sounds like a plan Yertiz1883. We are planning to go into Genoa to buy some wine and cokes for the cabin so we could have lunch there too.

I notice that you're sailing is a few weeks before mine so I'd be grateful if you'd let me know how your plan works out [emoji12]

That's very disappointing. We embark in Genoa after a very early start and a 6am flight so we'll probably be tired and hungry by lunchtime. We'll just have to brave the buffet I guess.

I'm cruising on Oceana soon and was wondering if there's a quiet place to eat after embarkation on the first day? Is the MDR open? I'm not a big fan of the buffet scrum.

I'm taking my first cruise with p&o in September although I've cruised many times with other lines. Can you tell me if there's always a black/white night onboard? My cruise personaliser just tells me there will be 2 formal nights.

How much will a taxi cost from Livorno port to the train station?

Hi just done that cruise. In Venice they offer a water shuttle bus cost £15 each (1 day) or £28 for unlimited for 2 days. What they do for the rest of ports there are shuttle buses swipe your cruise cards. For those that do not get if free pay approx 2.50 each way. Dubrovnik you will need to take the shuttle.

 

 

Just to point out we did the Genoa to Genoa cruise the first 7 days you have to pay 22% vat on all purchases, they do not put out the duty free stuff until it has left Venice.

The 'test' (AKA debut) on BA and GA ends next week. Who knows what will be the outcome? New Charges Line don't know yet (but we can SWAG that there will be a RS charge:rolleyes:).

 

If I were you, I would expect there to be a Room Service charge of some sort on the Jade next month - then you might be pleasantly surprised if there isn't one.

Hi, am I right in thinking that the convenience charge is only applicable to room service on Breakaway and Getaway at present? I'm sailing on Jade later this month so I'm hoping it's still complimentary onboard her.
