We were on the Viking Polaris Jan 2024 and we were not allowed to sit or put bags down.  I think it was a new rule for this season.

We were just on the Saturn recently and there were at least 4 sets.  We played on sea days and was a lot of fun! There were enough players for 4 tables too!

We used Cabot Discovery Tour and did the Mini Cabot trail.  It was excellent.  It so happened we were the only 2 for the tour that day.  Frank our guide and driver was excellent in showing good picture spots and telling us history about the area.  We really enjoyed our day!!

We used Cabot Discovery Tours and went on a mini trail excursion of the Cabot trail.  Our guide was excellent and the company was good responding to my emails. Even though the weather was not the best we had a great tour.  There were only 2 of us that day for the excursion!!

If you are getting dropped off can you go directly to the port?  How about disembark same thing?

Thanks!  It does work, but not for the date I am looking at.  In case anyone is interested, it works for 2023 Antartica and South Georgia but not for 2024.  I didn't check any other cruises.  

Thanks for this code!  I was able to use it for next 2024 January cruise which gave free airfare and discounted fare!!!!

On the Viking site I do not see any cruises after ours.  Ours ends the 19th so I guess it might be fixed have our cruise???

That is strange because we just booked the Polaris for departure the 6 March yesterday!!!  Have not heard anything about this.

Not logged on to my son's account just logged on to the record locator given by ez air for AA. I also have another record locator for United given by ez air when I booked the flights so have two different record locators.

Yes I have put in the record locator for AA.  It just shows the United flight on the outbound.   I can't do anything to the record like seats etc.  I have to use the United record locator.  Since this was booked by ez air and not me they can have the flights showing.  

the problem is it was not ticketed!!  He is coming from a different city than us. No cancellation notice but when I put in his AA record locator it just shows the United flights listed and no longer shows the return on AA.  The flights just disappeared.

Just wanted to let people know to check your record locators with the airlines you have booked.  Just noticed today that my son's return ticket on American got cancelled from Anchorage. I called Princess and asked for the air department.  We leave on 10 June so right now it's not a priority!  They said they would get back to me within 5 days  I told them I want my original flights back! Have had flights booked since last summer!!!  Just BEWARE of ez air.

I have gotten an update from Viking.  Since we are doing 2 days pre on our OWN we need to get either a pcr test 72 hours before getting on the viking ship or antigen test 24 hours.  Since Greece does not require a test anymore we can just show our vaccine cards.  This was confirmed by Viking.

I still can't get into the excursions for our Alaskan cruise.  It has been around 3 days now.  So frustrating.  Has anyone heard when it will get fixed?

We just had an update for requirements for our cruise on March 19th.  Greece no longer requires testing before arrival but Viking seems too but now I can't find where it says we must be tested 24 hours hours (antigen) test before getting on the ship since we will be doing an independent stay for 2 nights.  I had contacted Viking and they said the test 24 hours before getting on the ship was fine and could follow the Greece rules so no testing before leaving.  So confusing!!!  Anyone know what is required?

I am booked with Princess and doing a post tour.  I am trying to upgrade to the Tundra Wildness Tour.  Princess presently has me booked on the Natural History Tour.  On the excursion page it said to call Princess to upgrade.  Has anyone been successful in doing this recently?  They seem to NOT have a clue about this.  I am on my 4th transfer and problem has not been solved!  Any tips to doing this?

We are ending our cruise in Venice too. I called and it said on my invoice 7:00am. We are arrive at 3am.

Does anyone know if the snow grotto is opened and steam room?  Are you free to use any of these facilities.  Will be trying in March and hope we will be able to use all the special spa features.

No, we will be on the Sapphire Princess next June.

We will be going on our 50th wedding anniversary to Alaska next year with family.  We will be on the Sapphire Princess.  I have all the reservations linked and did have confirmed seating for us before the switch over but now it is saying table of 6 with 9 + next to it.  Do they have tables of 12 on the Sapphire? I would really like to get this set up before we leave instead of dealing with it on day of sailing.  There will be a total of 11 and I am being told they just have tables of 6 on the Sapphire. Is that right? 

My travel agent has said it does have a tub but can’t verify the walk-in closet. I want both!

We are booked in the new junior suites on deck 11.  Can anyone confirm they DO have walk-in closets and bathtub? I think on the navigator of the seas that is not the case. 
 

We had a 3:20pm departure from Hobby and missed our flight.  It was recently and the fog was heavy causing major delays.  If I go again I would book 4 or later!!!

In September we used Viator for our transfers from Tokyo to Narita.  They used Green Tomato.  They were very reliable and professional.
