Well now that I am back on I do have a question, especially to the ones who have 'been there, done that'. Walking sticks?

Welcome! Thanks for the video. If it disappears from here, it will because it is branded with a specific travel agency, and that is against CC guidelines.
If you start a roll call for your sailing, please post the link here.
Wow...Didn't catch that. Wasn't thinking since I was aware of the policy. Thanks, Mark

WOW......Mel and I just got confirmation for Sept 23, 2021. Forgive me if this link has already been shared. Lot of reading and catching up. What are the odds that someone will be on the same adventure. Time will tell.
Later Onboard,
Mark..

Roll calls are in a separate forum and then subdivided by ship. Viking Ocean Roll Calls. Using the "Find Your Roll Call" tool can be hit or miss and the best way to find a roll call is still to navigate to the correct forum and then use the search function or even just read down the list of roll calls until you find what you are looking for.

Krisval, there are two March 2 roll calls. If you report it to the moderators, they will combine them into one
We are doing the first cruise on Jan13th. Keep looking in for updates. Staying in the Ice Hotel while in Alta. Need to buy some wool clothing.

Hello and good luck building your roll call;)
I tried to start one for this trip tomorrow, alas.... just found it again and it still slim pickin's. We loved the whole experience and so off we go and expect to see a lot of snow on the tops, do have warm clothing.
River boating doesn't seem to have the CC following that ocean going cruises have, perhaps with time. Helen
Hello Helen, So you are going on this trip? Actually there should only be one Roll call.

Hi Leafeater,
We just signed up for the July 1st 2018 from Clarkston to Vancouver, We are from the St.Louis area with high humidity so we thought to spend July 4th on the river would be cooler than being on the river under the Arch. You might google for the average temp in Sept/Oct. I'm thinking no matter what time you will need to layer your clothing. Good promotions going on for 2018

All comments very interesting. I was not aware of the policy of tips going into a pool if you opt out. We never have opted out but have reduced the amount toward the end of the cruise depending on how the cruise went. So what happens when you reduce the daily tip by say 5% because we didn't stop at a port or we where late to sail or just alot of little things went wrong etc.?

That's a great idea, if you don't have a scanner, you could take pics with your cell phone also.
Just remember that emails are like postcards. Better to encrypt your email or save everything on a flash drive.

Just learned about this. I copied and pasted this fro the gov. website. Check out the last paragraph about some countries and airlines won't accept your passport if it expires within 6 months after you travel.

We had about 80% Platinum and Elite on the Grand Princess, sailing around South America. They had to make a few adjustments to accommodate this number.
Morning,
What kind of adjustments? Wonder how the new level will affect this.

Just on the news regarding AA. Folks traveling lightly will be allowed to board first followed by those with carryons. Supposedly it should speed up boarding time.

GM All,
The aqua shoes are a good reminder. Pretty sure I still have a pair in the closet. With regards to the walking sticks. I remembered buying a pair on Amazon for our Norway in 'Search of the Northern Lights'. Didn't use or need them. I was able to return them since I bought and returned them within their 30 day return policy.
