  1. I am able to log on, but all of the offered shore excursion for the first half of our back-to-back have disappeared...when I select activities there is nothing displayed for the first 9 days.  We are sailing from Barcelona on Nov. 19 and I've heard rumors that both Morroco ports will be skipped so perhaps they are trying to restructure that part of the cruise, but it would be helpful to just tell us that instead of leaving us in the dark.  This is our first SS cruise and I'm not comfortable with their methods of communication.  I've contacted my independent agent about this, but she can only tell me what SS tells her, with is basically nothing right now!

  2. Absolutely! We enjoy studying the wine list and choosing a different bottle of wine each night with our dinner. There are always a couple of fairly expensive wines that are not included in the package, but, after 4 Viking cruises, we have never been disappointed in the wine list. Also, many of the servers are very knowledgeable about the wines and can help you choose.

Thank you for your reply! We look forward to choosing some interesting wines!

  3. We will be at Stockholm in August, and interested in seeing some wonderful art work underground in Metro stations, especially from blue lines. Has anyone done that before? Any suggestions (hop on hop off stations)?

Also from metro website, it seems there are suspended service on blue line from 6/25-10/22/2012. Any locals have suggestions how to plan around it? Thanks in advance.

"Metro services between Rådhuset and Kungsträdgården will be suspended between 25 June and 22 October, due to construction work on the new City Line."

Unfortunately the organized tours conducted by SL will not use the Blue Line while Kungsträdgården is closed. If you take the bus service suggested to Rådhuset and then enter the blue line for a ride "out and back" you can see these stations. I think they are some of the most interesting. I wish they published more information in English...but they are worth seeing. I've been warned to use some caution at the stations toward the end of the blue line because the neighborhoods can be rough but I think the person was being a bit prejudice.
