I did all this while on the phone with Onpoint and she said to click "client bill" as that's all a part of the service?  I was "told" we would not be billed anything because I said oh shoot, I don't have my insurance card on me and she said oh no, don't worry about that, just click client bill.  So I guess we will see.  Also, if you did not receive a separate email for your husband then you did not register him.  I received 3 emails for each one of us and that's where the results will be for each person.  She had me just input my own email/phone number so we don't have to go digging for eveyones information.

I received the appointment confirmation only for me.  I did register him on the covid19.health site and received that email.  I will try to give them a call early in the morning I suppose. I would have used emed but even though they say they are 24 /7, they were only offering times while we will be in the air.  If this doesn't work, I have a backup plan to get tested at an urgent care in Anchorage, AK.  I would love to have it out of the way before we fly out, though.

  2. I have made an appt. with them for 2 of us in August.  They sent a link to register with a different site (covid19.health) that was asking for insurance info. I'm concerned about not only sending out my info, but possibly being charged or my insurance being charged. I also don't believe I entered my husbands info when I scheduled, but my email does say 2 tests. Hmmm.

  3. Can't say what will be the case in October, but currently there are many places in Miami to do your test in a timely manner. Nomi and beepermd have multiple sites as well as pretty much any urgent care clinic. I work in Miami and have to be tested regularly.  I find Nomi to be more organized, but either will do.

  4. I cancelled my August Western Med cruise today. It broke my heart.  My PCC was a doll though.  I'm still on the hook for my flights.  If the world opens up by then we can do a land vacay or rebook but, in reality, I think we are done for this year at least. I just always feel that we don't have enough time......

  5. Interesting.  I upgraded last week from a BD to MD when the price dropped to $300 less than I had booked the BD.  Today I see the $280 OBC but the price went up $600! Guess I will stay where I am. Final payment is not until the end of April. Anything can happen, I suppose.

  6. I find that the bamboo straws do impart some taste into, say, an alcoholic beverage.  I have also found that silicone straws tend to collapse in particularly viscous liquids (ie a mudslide) as do plastic ones, to be honest.  I have several metal ones now that do me quite nicely.  I also don't drink and walk as a general rule.

  7. What good news!  Back in the day Freeport was actually a pretty nice day.  The Princess Casino was the major draw and several day cruises sailed from Fort Lauderdale (Discovery, SeaEscape and Sun Cruises if I recall) every day pumping money into the island.  Then they were hit with a couple of hurricanes in a short period of time, closing the Princess Casino and making the much smaller Lucaya area the major tourist section.  The day cruises shut down, and with no money coming in, they never were able to rebuild.  It became a vicious circle of no attractions, so no income to support attractions.  We got engaged there about a hundred years ago.  I would love to see it hopping again, not just for my own fun but for the betterment of the people who live there.

  8. I have replaced my children's because I couldn't find them. Then, of course, I did. Now I have two. I got a copy of mine years ago because the one I had was a "hospital copy" not a registered one. Of course the new one is just a photocopy of that one on special paper. I just got a new copy of my marriage license after 27 years because it was worn so bad you couldn't read it!

  9. I'm a Miami local and I do this drive regularly. There is nothing wrong with doing it either way. If you are going to stop, I would pick Islamorada right now. Some of the lower keys are still recovering from the hurricane last year although key west is fine. Was down in March and Anne's Beach was still closed and didn't look like it was going to come back anytime soon.

  10. I do not.

When I was a relatively new cruiser, based on some posts on Cruise Critic, I tipped our cabin steward up front.

    Worst service EVER.

    I tip at the end.

On another line, but this exactly. The posts were to leave a tip and a note on the first day. Never received what I had asked for (empty the mini fridge and regular coffee pods, not decaf). And literally NEVER SAW the steward the entire cruise.
