  1. Will be in Skagway in June on a Royal Caribbean cruise, was wanting to do the White pass Railway excursion but there are several to choose from. Any recommendations are welcomed: white pass railway + Dog Sled Encounter; White Pass Railway + Suspension Bridge; White Pass Railway + Skagway Highlights?? Was planning to book through Royal Caribbean but can not decide which one?

  2. Thank you for all the tips... I was definitely leaning toward Coral Princess and y’all have confirmed my research. I will also look into Club Class and will look at booking land tour pre cruise. Any other information is very welcomed!!

  3. Just in the beginning stages of planning an Alaskan Cruise. We have been on many Caribbean cruises so we are not new to cruising just new to planning an Alaskan cruise. We are loyal Royal Caribbean cruises, however everything I research leads me to Princess for an Alaskan cruise and after reading many reviews I agree we would like to try Princess. We are looking at August 2020 or June 2021. Freedom of the Seas has been our favorite RCCL ship and from what I have found out... the Coral, Royal, Island, and Golden are the Princess ships that go to Alaska. I believe my husband would like sailing through the inside passage.... can y’all advise us as to which ship we should be pricing and looking into for our vacation? I am considering a mini suite cabin as this will be a once in a lifetime cruise for us. Thank you for your help!😊

  4. Just curious how many cruisers go on say a 7 night or longer cruise and just stayed on the ship the entire cruise. Either because you have been to the ports or just cruise for the ship and not for the stops. Thinking about this in the future.

In the Caribbean, we only get off on the private island... otherwise we stay on board the entire 7 days.

  5. We are sailing this Saturday on Harmony of the Seas. Our last family cruise the four of us (husband, wife and 2 daughters) were in 1 cabin and toward the end of the cruise I ended up purchasing all of our pictures in a package cd. This trip our girls are in their own cabin (ages 21 and 25) and my husband and I are in another cabin next door. My question is are we forced to buy 2 expensive photo packages if we want all of our pictures or since we are a family of 4 will they let us just buy one package and link the 2 cabins... Thank you for your help. It looks like online I can pre purchase a cd for 249.99 per cabin, but I really do not want to do that if that only includes 2 of us.

  6. I have been on a Radience class, Oasis class, and Freedom class- my favorite is Freedom class as enjoy a larger ship, but do not like having to preplan show reservations ahead of time like you must do for the Oasis class ships. My husband is in agreement with me . (We are in our early 50's) Our twenty something girls love the Oasis class. Itineraries are not that important to us as we usually stay on the ship at most ports.

  7. I just checked our reservations for June 2017 on Harmony and our MTD reservations are still there for our party of 9 - I have never had MTD, but they said this was all that was available when I purchased our cruise tickets in May 2016. Now, that I have my entertainment reservations (which took quite a while to do for 9 people), then called C and A to get help with MTD reservations... I sure hope nothing changes in the next 23 days! If we did not have MTD, we would opt for late seating, however, now that would interfere with our show reservations!!

  8. We are on Harmony of the Seas in June in 2 balcony cabins (4adults all with drink packages). On all prior cruises we have taken our set sail cards to guest services had a hole punched and kept lanyards with us. I have read where HOS sea pass cards can not be hole punched. My daughters and I do not carry purses on board and stay by the pool most all days. So, just wondering how many prefer the wow bands over just carrying seapass card? I hate to buy the wow bands if others have found that they did not use them. I realize everyone will have their own opinion, but just trying to see the pros and cons... thanks for your help!

  9. I called Crown and Anchor this week for help in booking MTD for 4 staterooms for a total of 9 passengers- they forwarded me a cruise planner email that includes the names of all 9 passengers and reservation times for all 7 nights. It took Crown and Anchor rep 29 minutes to get us squared away as I could not figure out how to schedule MTD in my cruise planner. I was so happy they could help me!

  10. So what I am understanding is we will not be able to have guest services punch hole in our cards as we have in the past. That is our typical way of keeping our sea pass cards. A question I have is how do you order a drink at a show or around the pool? Do you have to take the wow bracelet off and give it to your server or do they scan it when they take your order if you have a drink package? Then, if they take it ... how do you know if you get the correct wow band back? Thanks for helping me understand how this works.
