  1. Hello, have any of you sailed in stateroom 6444 on the Breeze?

Some friends of mine who have never been on the Breeze have booked this room and I'm a little concerned for them about noise from the open deck below. If you have had this stateroom, can you please advise regarding privacy and noise level from the open area on deck 5? Thanks in advance for your advice.

  2. We had some terrific service on our recent sailing on the Glory.

Francisco- EA Sports Bar. Francisco is one of the reasons we have sailed 3 times on the Glory in the past 5 months. He is always friendly and professional. He always welcomes us back on board with a huge smile. He is very prompt with our drink orders and goes out of his way to meet our needs and special drink requests.

Olga- Casino Beverage Server. She is always so sweet. We have cruised with her 3 times this year and she always makes us laugh and serves with a smile. She goes above and beyond to make sure our needs are met, even when it involves a special order. She is one of the best casino servers in the Carnival fleet.

Constantine- Casino Beverage Server. He is very friendly and professional. We've enjoyed his service a few times now and he always greets us with a big smile. He is also very prompt with the drink orders. Seems to be a hard worker for Carnival.

Putu- EA Sports Bar Tender- Putu is the best! We had drinks made by him and other drinks made by the bartenders in the casino bar. Putu's drinks were always perfect in comparison. He should be training the bar tenders in the casino bar how to properly make drinks.

Bunny- Casino Host. Bunny was very lively and friendly. There were some grumpy people on board for this sailing and she was always nice to them regardless of their moods.

Kyle-Casino Host. Kyle is terrific. He's professional, funny and friendly. Exactly what you need in a casino host. He ran the casino tournaments professionally and made them all more fun because he was involved.

Erika- Poolside Beverage Server. We didn't order drinks from Erika at the pool but still had the opportunity to interact with her at the Premier cocktail party. We had sailed with her before and she welcomed us back with a big smile and warm greeting. She's a great example of the warm employees Carnival needs.

  3. Just borded freedom and thought I would give a quick update. Social media plan started this week. For $5 a day or $25 for entire cruis you get access to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, iMessage, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook messenger, what'sapp and snapchat. My sure how fast it's going to be.

Also got cheers and match play is still in effect, although there are no signs.

Awesome, please let us know if you get the social media plan and if it worked well for you. Have a great cruise!

  4. I just looked and mine is there. But, when I click on "details" I get the "Don 't worry , be happy" message that says site cannot be found. So, I guess I wait..darn! Can anyone tell me what dates and ships are included??

  5. My PVP said that I can't use the egift cards as down payment - that a credit card is required to secure the reservation. Has this been the case for you all?

Not for me. I used only e-gift cards to make my booking and then also to pay it off. The only issue I came across is I had to call Carnival to make my deposit payment since I had to use multiple e-gift cards and the website would only let me enter 1 card. I called Carnival and the rep took my six $100 e-gift card numbers over the phone and applied the whole $600 for the booking deposit. Never had to give my credit card to Carnival for the booking.

  6. ~Cruise solo

    ~Nap whenever I want

~Stay up as late as I want

~Run on the jogging track instead of the treadmill

  7. Can you purchase re-fillable cups for drinks at the bars on board the Glory and/or Conquest? If so, what size are they and how much do they cost? Also, what are you allowed to get refills of? How much do the refills cost?

Sorry for all the drink cup questions. Have been on many cruises but have never paid attention to be aware of those offers. I'm trying to decide if I would be better off to just get one of the drinks in the re-fillable cups and then pay for refills if that is possible, rather than buying the Cheers program if I'm only going to have 3 to 4 drinks per day.

Your advice is appreciated in advance.

    Thanks! :)

  8. I bought 26 cards ($100) in a single purchase on August 22. I got the email with the attached spreadsheet with all of the card numbers and PINs. I just applied all of them individually to my final payment today. I didn't need the PIN just the card number. I now owe $32.61 on my final payment and saved $260. Thanks to the OP for the heads up. That'll fly one of us to Florida. Yay!

That's awesome! Glad it worked out so well for you. :)

  9. I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to Tracey (OP) for posting this information!! I have had Verizon for years and never knew about the program until now. I logged in and long and behold, I had 30,000 points.

We have been debating on taking a Thanksgiving cruise and this was the "sign" I needed! I just booked the Pride over Thanksgiving with 9 $100 gift cards for my deposit and plan on buying more to pay the balance and then a few more for the gratuities and sign & sail account.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!:)

I'm so glad you and many others were able to benefit from this promotion. Every bit of savings helps. I figured the Carnival electronic gift cards were the best way to use my Verizon points so I thought others might be in the same boat...yes, pun intended. :)

Some people who shop elsewhere may prefer other ways to use their Verizon points. Since I usually have at least 1 cruise booked or ready to book, this promotion basically saves me 10% on my cruise cost using the electronic gift cards as payment for booking or on-board the ship. :) I can use that 10% savings towards my travel or hotel cost, etc...

    Enjoy your cruise!
