No problem at all. Got all the times we wanted but we also eat on the earlier side. We went right up to Coastal Kitchen when we boarded and made reservations for the rest of the week. Not sure about walk ins. It seemed to get full around 6:30-7.

Thanks for posting updates!

You can actually request the Water Taxi stop for you at the hotel. Just ask the front desk or concierge.
Thanks I'll check on that!
Don't miss walking Las Olas at night. It is really beautiful lit up at night.
it is pretty!
The Sun Trolley runs by the front door that you can take to the beach/Galleria Mall for $1.00 p.p. each way. Also, I dis agree with the poster that said the pool was small, while not Olympic it is quite nice.Love the trolley idea. I'm hoping we go to the beach for a while.

I've been on Allure twice, Oasis once and am going on Harmony for the second time in 2 weeks. 2 of the cruises have been transatlantic. haven't been bored yet! YMMV.
Have fun!

Thanks that's what I will do!

What's the best way to book my reservations when I board? Last year on HOTS I went straight to the specialty dining desk they had set up, they in turn sent me to deck 8 to Chops where I set up all reservations. Anyone have a good system?

We get in at 10 am the day before our cruise. We are staying at the Riverside. I am planning on dinner at Coconuts, unless someone has a better suggestion. What should we do in the meantime?
-
I use Priceline, choose downtown/port neighborhood and 3 stars- I have "won" Riverside 3 times and Hyatt once. I prefer Riverside as I like the outdoor breakfast seating morning of cruise and Starbucks about a block away. Less than $20 taxi/Uber from airport to hotel and hotel to port.

The 7/15 has been having JS guarantees for $1599

Thanks. I wasn't sure if Uber would be available or if it was prime time there.

My daughter doesn't get in until around midnight on a Friday. Best transpo Uber or taxi?
Thanks!

Maybe everyone gets to board early just for that[emoji1]

have you noticed how the lines for the slides and flow rider were?

One thing I noticed on deck 8, which I had not noticed before. The area close to the elevator lobby tends to be warmer and more humid because of the constant open doors to Central Park. Maybe this is not a big deal late in the evening when the doors would tend to stay closed.
And the elevator lobby on 8 can be SLIPPERY if it is raining. I slid about 6 feet in flipflops, glad I wasn't wearing heels. :D I'll stay with 9636, the balcony looks like it has a bit of an angle. I do want to see the view from my sons B1 on 12 though, even with the slide it looks fun.

Thanks everyone. I don't do suites very often so I want to make the most of it. I like the proximity to the Trellis Bar. [emoji4]

That was my thinking. DD was thinking the higher the better. I'll keep checking for a higher hump to open up

I'm in 9636, the deck 12 opened up. The only difference I see is balcony size. 9 is a hump balcony.
Pros Or cons to either?
Thanks!
-
I'd be very happy with that stateroom. We had 9242 on the other side on Oasis last week and were very pleased. The hump staterooms have larger balconies than non-hump staterooms.
Excellent! thank you so much for all your advice and insight!

Well they assigned my JS 9636. I was in long enough to see the suite assignment then kicked out again.........
