going on Prima out of Galveston in a week

prepaid gratuities don't include the Haven's Butler and Concierge, we must tip them separately, while on ship

whats appropriate?  every interaction, how much?  every day, regardless of whether we use them, how much?

I just heard that we will NOT be going to Key West!!! that it will be an additional day at sea!!!

also that Carnival will be offering 50% a future cruise or 50% off this cruise because of that.

anyone else hear anything like this????

1. do the cabins have refrigerators?

no, on the carnival website, if a room type is sold out, like balcony or suite, it says so on there. there are 4 blocks to select room type, interior, ocean view, balcony, suite. havana wasn't even an option

ok, i just saw that the Vista has Havana Cabins, and will be cruising out of Galveston starting Sept 2018 .

I went to carnival website, and did pricing, but Havana rooms wasnt an option. How much do the Havana cabins cost?

anyone else hear this?

i love popcorn! especally with my drinks! if i took a bag of microwave popcorn, would someone pop it for me?

how much cash do you take on a cruise?

the Sign&Sail card covers expenses on board. and i presume most people take a credit card. but what about cash?

it was a simple question, is key west open and receiving ships? had a couple of answers, nothing NOTHING was out of order, rude or anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we are set for anytime dining. we like to sit by ourselves. do we need to let carnival/our PVP know ahead of time, or just whenever we show up to eat dinner, just tell them then?

how long is the tour?

open for business? cruise ships going in there? we are to go there (and the bahamas) in a couple of weeks.

we booked the "hop on hop off" sightseeing excursion. amyone know if thats still going on?

yeah, i know its kinda early actually, and i was just mulling it over. we havent been on a nice long over $2,000 vacation in 10 years...............i was REALLY looking forward to Key West :(

guess we'll just do the ol' wait and see.....

so, we have a completly paid off cruise, paid excursions, etc for Oct 14 to Key West & Bahamas. they are gana be flattened i fear.

what all is involved, etc, if we wanted to change it to say, same ship, same length of days, etc, but just the other destinations of Cozumel/playa & hte other destination.......(i forget) its just the other itinerary, and another date?

easy/hard,e xpensive, ???

anyone else feel bad or funny about ordering a whole bunch of things? like 2 starters, 2-3 entrees, 2 desserts, etc? i feel like such a piglet, and feel so wasteful also.

how does that affect this: as soon as I walk onboard, there are usually waiters with trays of the "drink of the day" and I want one!!!!

have a place in Corpus & neighbor said privacy fence bent over & tree lost a few limbs, but not much else damage wise. gusts and some flooding

what time does the Lunch Buffet open & close? like if we went at 2pm, would the buffet be closed?

on the Carnival website where we input our passport info, etc, I don't see where we put the credit card info. its been years since we've cruised, so basically its all new to me again!

what is open/available to eat? can we go to the "fancy" (where you have to pay extra for) on embarkation day to eat (and not pay)? we did that once years ago.

otherwise, besides the Lido deck buffet, what else is open for food?
