Very helpful review. Do you know if room service is free and if you can order the night before? We are going Northbound next week and have very early morning excursions. Thanks.
No charge for room service. We did not order in advance so I don't know if that was available. sorry

Thanks so much for your review and the photos of the newly renovated cabin. As prospective Millennium cruisers who suffer from allergies to chemical smells, could I trouble you to let me know whether or not you smelled any "new room" smell from the furniture or carpet?
No we didn’t have any new paint smell.

I was lucky enough to get in on the $18 drink package. My first on royal. 👍🏻
My question is the freestyle machine. Do I get a cup to access this? Or I just get soda at the bar. (I’m a Diet Coke cherry fan and would like to enjoy that)

We did the Skagway tours bus trip to Yukon. At the border, the Canadian customs official walked briskly thru the bus. We held our passports up. On board all of 20 seconds ( probably could have held my Chuck E Cheese pizza card ). 😜
Coming back to US they didn’t board the bus at all just waved us thru. 😡.

What time for dinner reservations would you recommend to get the most out of the shows etc... ?
That is tough. A full 2 hours for dinner and desert. We did 530 and had to leave before dessert to make show.
I guess do early show and 8pm dinner.

Your pictures are beautiful.
We went to Alaska mid August on HAL in 2018. We did see a bear with their cub in a rainforest sanctuary but it definitely was not the same.
Hopefully we will see some bears in icy strait.
We were told a momma and cub hung out on a ridge as you walked into Hoonah Didn’t see any on our trip.
Lots of eagles at icy Point strait
Good luck!

How close where you???? WOW. What where you in, a vehicle?
We were in a bus on Skagway tour to Yukon. Saw 4 bears. Pics taken out the window. Distance 10-15 feet. One bear walked up to bus !!?! It was amazing.
Our driver turned around and parked for pics. ( a benefit of bus over train).

The new renovations are gorgeous. My cousin and I have a handicap accessible on deck 7. Thanks for the info on the lenses. I'm bringing my nikon 7100 and 2 lenses, 16-300 (wide angle and misc) and just got 100-400. Hoping for some bear pics! Going to Neets Bay.
We saw a lot of bears in dandelion fields in Skagway. Amazing.

Do you happen to have any pictures of the inside cabin? My mom and I are in one on Aug. 2 unless we score a move up or the prices drop a bit more.
Here are some photos of our 2 inside cabins. We truly appreciated the balcony and if you can upgrade it might be worth it. Glacier day was amazing.

We just sailed on Millennium Formal nights....aka “chic” nights are quite casual. Only a couple tables dressed up. ( 1 was a wedding party).

And although it may be different on different ships, the two times we ate at JR’s on our Liberty B2B in March, the shakes were covered by our drink package.
That was my question. Does my drink package get me a shake?

Have a question, did you use the Celebrity App to communicate with each other? If so do you put your phone on airplane mode so as not to pick up phone calls and test and incur charges there? I do not have much knowledge of how electronics work. Thanks
Yes we did use the app to communicate. We left our phones in airplane mode at sea. The app is nice but it will drop off the network when your phone sleeps. Therefore you have to keep your phone out for messages.
We would check our messages every hour or so and it worked.
The best part of app is the list of activities. It keeps track of the things you want to do. Even reminds you of dinner reservations.

Enjoyed your review! Thanks. Your pictures of Hubbard are some of the best I have seen. We are doing Millenium SB in a few weeks, so I especially enjoyed reading about what we will be experiencing. Nicely done. Thanks again.
Thanks for the kind words. Capt Theo got us very close. Even the crew commented that it was an amazing day. With the bright sun, Calving was non stop. Sounded like thunder and then "Splash" and the wave coming towards the ship. I am still in Awe....

Great review love the pictures! Can you tell me about dressing for dinner? Dress pants for women or dresses? How fancy was “chic” night for men and women?
The dining room was very casual on all nights. Chic nights my wife wore a skirt. Lots of pants on women too. Only 1-2 tables dressed up. (1 was a wedding party). Men in dockers and button down shirts. Even some polo shirts.

Trip Report - Celebrity Millennium Inside Passage Northbound June 7, 2019
-
My family of 5 ate at Qzine on the first night of our Alaska cruise. We did it to save a little cash.
It is an amazing experience Don't go into it thinking that you are at a steakhouse or italian restaurant. It is a "food adventure" We had 10 courses. I didn't like them all, but some were amazing. It was a blast tying new things and kicking off the cruise. Highly recommended. Plan on 2 hours minimum.
....and the deserts. There are no words!!

No we never heard any noise from above or below. We did hear a little from cabins on either side.
