  1. Don’t make the mistake we made last year and rely on the directions on the website. All was fine until the very last line, “Follow the signs to pier 4 & 5.”  As you can see, the terminals are all labeled with letters, not numbers. Our cab driver had no idea where to go. I saw a Royal Caribbean ship and sent him in that direction.

  2. I had the same problem with question 18, but my problems started earlier. One of the first questions asked if I had experienced the new entertainment program yet. Even though my answer was no, the next question asked if I was satisfied with the program.

  3. I took a look at the upcoming April 26 Journey cruise last year when a poster was making a big deal about the wrong time listed for an excursion in Cyprus. The first thing I noticed was that the map labeled the country for Limassol as Israel. Not wanting to add fuel to the fire, I quietly notified customer service. I received a lovely note back. The representative even took the time to look up my account and see that I had a future cruise booked. The mistake was never corrected.

  4. Bonnie-- Since my information comes from the communication sent by Azamara to my travel agent, I don't think this was a miscommunication. A very poor decision, yes, but a miscommunication, probably not. Since we booked a suite we are entitled to $1000 obc if we choose another cruise but with free dining in the specialty restaurants and the inclusive drink program we would be spending money on things we don't need, want or appreciate. A discount on our next cruise seems much more appropriate.

Don't you just love the first line of the letter to the travel agents?:

"We hope your clients are looking forward to their Azamara Club Cruises Caribbean voyage in November as much as we look forward to having them onboard."

  5. My travel agent has explained that the protected rate is the lowest price ever offered for the cruise that you are booking and you are correct that this offer is only for 5 particular cruises. The holiday cruises are not included. All other cruises will be charged at the current rate. My question is whether or not they are including discounts such as book inside and get a balcony or buy one get one 1/2 off when they determine the protected price.

Cancellation with a full refund is also an option.

Rebooking a suite gets you $1000 OBC. All other categories get $500 OBC.

  6. Good call, Phil.

I just got word from my travel agent.

The Azamara Quest, November 20, 2017 voyage will be re-deployed to two shorter voyages that will include overnights in Havana, Cuba. Both are Miami round trip. The first cruise is 7 days and goes to Key West and Cozumel in addition to Havana. The second cruise is only 4 days and has a day at sea and the overnight in Cuba.

I'm not thrilled with my options.
