  1. What is the earliest you have gotten to the port in Galveston. One flight we could book lands at Hobby at 9:30 a.m. The next flight doesn't land until about noon. Going a day early is impossible on this cruise. We are using Royal Caribbean transportation because it is about the same price as others have quoted us. We haven't used their transportation in years. Will we sit there until they fill the bus? My guess would be yes.

  2. We were on Allure a couple of weeks ago and saw a strange sight . At least three of the nights there was a man sitting in front of a cabin on deck 3. There was no way anyone in the cabin could get by him or the table he had. I had a couple of thoughts but I wondered if anyone knew for sure.

  3. I know this question has been asked many times but I could not find it. My husband doesn't want to carry a lot of cash with him the day of the cruise but we have a rather expensive shore excursion booked and the guide wants cash. Our bank doesn't sell traveler

checks anymore. I seem to remember that we can cash one personal check ($200 I think) on board. I guess we will get the rest from an ATM. Is it better to get it from an ATM on board or in port. Thanks

  4. I am sorry. I did not make myself clear. On several Royal Caribbean ships there are handicap assist restrooms like they have at the airport and many stores. The handicapped person receives help from a companion. There is room for the disabled person and companion. These restrooms also usually have a baby changing table also so they serve more than one purpose. I know they have them on the Radiance class ships.

  5. Does anyone know if there are restrooms by the theater on Allure that are handicap assists and allow a wheelchair bound person to receive help from someone. Also, is there an entrance for handicap people in a wheelchair on deck 3. On Serenade they have an emergency exit that they also use also to take wheelchairs in since they cannot go up and down for seats. Thanks.

  6. I sent an email about 45 days before sailing and got an email acknowledgment back within 10 mins. The next day I got a screen shot of our actual table assignment. I sent the message to the restaurant coordinator for our ship, not the general "dining request" email address. Seems as though it can be a crap shoot.

How do you find out the e-mail address of a specific ship. We are going on the Allure. One of the requests is to accomodate a disabled person in our group. Thank you.
