Absolutely! You can buy both of those things. If you buy a spice necklace ( great gifts) be sure to bring large ziplock bags to seal them in. They are very fragrant!!

Sailing to Havana on Carnival. Is there a schedule for getting off the ship? If I don't have an excursion booked thru the cruiseline can I get off as soon as we are cleared? Or do ship excursions go first?

We will be in arriving in Havana on the Carnival Sensation at 7:00 a.m. We have a private tour arranged leaving at 10:00 a.m. Does anyone know the order that you leave the ship? Can you just walk off when you want or do the Carnival excursions go first?
