  1. Ok, so every woman I know is wearing jeans or even pants that are distressed, holes and unhemed at the ankle. I have one such pair of nice white pants that have holes in the knees. ( I know, nice pants with holes,,but they are super cute!) Do you think they will let me in the dinning room for lunch with these on? Same pants, in black, do you think they would let me in the dinning room for dinner wearing them?

Please no rude comments, it's a fashion thing. Thank you:o

    Lunch, yes. Dinner, no.

  2. We will be on the Spitsbergen in a basic inside cabin. Are there hairdryers in the bathrooms?

Also, we won't know if we have early or late seating until we board the ship. We definitely want early dining so if we need to change, do we do that when we check in or after we board? At the front desk or in the dining room?

We were on the Nordkapp in April and had a hairdryer in our basic cabin. On our sailing there was only a 30 minute difference in early and late seating so it didn't make a lot of difference.

  3. Even with advance tickets you stand in line for Monet's Garden. In high season that takes time, but is worth it. I would suggest you take a tour with priority entrance.

Rouen is beautiful and takes time to enjoy its secrets. Honfleur is postcard perfection, a great place for a walk and a coffee. They are all worth the trip but impossible to do all in one day. We actually really enjoyed the post-war architecture in Le Havre and happily spent a day there. Tough choices.
