My wife and I like the formal nights on the cruise. We look forward to these nights. We have taken our children on cruises and I believe they have enjoyed the nights which were formal. I would chose a cruise line which still offer a formal night. I am not going to stop cursing with celebrity because of this.

I do believe that people from different countries have different opinions re these nights. My be, because what they are used too this formality in their country. We are are not all American, Australian, British or Fijian, so have different expect ions on formality.

Having a couple of formal nights on a cruise allows everyone the chance to dress either formally or in formal. Therefore

the removal of these nights, we may have lowered and removed that opportunity for that option of formal dress for people who like that option.

It is our first time on Princess. On other cruise lines you an pre book Specialty Restaurants. Is this the case with Ruby Princess

Just book your cruise, pay the price you are comfortable with, get the cabin you want, then sit back and enjoy.

It is a GUARANTEE that when you look out your cabin door at the 20 cabins at the right and 20 cabins to your left that you ALL paid a different price, used different discounts, were eligible for different promotions, and paid a different price for your cruise.

Its not about complaining its about getting the best for your money. I thought this forum was to discuss cruises and obtain advise from other guests of the best deals and also to meet new people.
Cruise lines bring out specials to get more bookings. Should a cruiser to able to take advantage of these specials, good on them.
We all know their are other prices paid for simular rooms. But by discussing this we are able to make an informed choice of what state room to purchase and when to purchase. I doubt you buy the first price given for a purchase. You would research and get the best value of your money

I am in agreement with you. This doesn't seem to value the customers who

are organised and support Celebrity.
