  1. I've looked everywhere and can't find this information. How much is a taxi to Tugboat beach? Are they easy to get? Will they come back at a specified time, or are there taxi's there for the return trip? How far away is it from the cruise terminal? Are there any facilities there? (food, drinks or bathroom?) We are on Jewel of the seas, here in Curacao on 11/22/16. Thanks for your help!

  2. Hi there,

I am thinking about booking private tour. I am nervous about the price. First he quoted me $400 for 4 people, then I told him that the website says $300. Then when I went to click on the PayPal for a deposit it charges tax? It also looks like the entrance fees for the places are on top of the $300 dollars not inclusive of it. All this tends to make me nervous. Did you end up going? How was it?

  3. Thank you so much for the quick reply! I spoke with my husband, and showed him pictures, said beach looked too crowded and doesn't want to go there. So off to plan B....! Need to find somewhere to snorkel.

    Ideas?

  4. I haven't seen a lot of information on how to get to the ferry terminal in fort de France once you exit the ship. It also looks like there are many different companies. Is that true? We are on Celebrity Summit, so where do you go once we get off? Which company do we look for? I have Euros, thankfully. Anyone have pictures for visual reference?

  5. All right, so I don't know how to private message, so here goes. I will just ask everyone! We will be in FDF the week of Thanksgiving on the Celebrity Summit. We will be taking the ferry to the beaches. I am not a lay on the towel in the sand person, I prefer a chair and a bar with drinks. Should we go to the Pointe du Bout beach or the Anse Mitan? Which is better for me? Any particular area of the beach? I don't mind paying for my conveniences. Please advise!

  6. Well, I am on the ship now, and booked the tour through RCL. I know....I know.....but it's a boat with shade and limited to 34 people, plus it starts at 10am, guaranteed to wait for us to get back! All the ones I looked at for private tours, no shade on the boat and when I called, they told me up to 30-40 people per boat. Not exactly small, so the ship's excursion seems good. We will be on it in 2 days!

  7. We leave on May 24th.

Been doing a lot of research on Snorkeling & Shark Ray Alley. Any advice? Trying to decide between these three narrowed down. Would prefer not to go through the ship because I like smaller groups.

    Belize Express Tours

Good reviews, $60 per person, 5 hours shark alley and a beach, King James, friendly party atmosphere, larger group

    Coral Breeze

$75 per person with lunch, not sure of group size, seems OK

    Belize Exotic Adventures

$70.00 per person, no deposit, good reviews, seems to be smaller group

  8. Sunny AZ Girl, Did you end up going to St. John? We are going to be in St. Thomas on RCL Jewel next week from 8:00am to 5:00pm and I want to go on the RH 9:00am ferry returning on the 2:00pm ferry. What do you think about that? I'm really worried about the taxi ride back to the cruise ship from Red Hook. I'm just tired of the usual excursions in St. Thomas and wanted to try something new. Thanks for your help.
