I had a facebook message from a water sports company on St Croix and he confirmed they are still not open and wont be for at least another week or two. They are concentrating on cleaning up and trying to restore the beach.

It may well be $8 per day. The glasses for the soda card are a lot bigger than they used to be.

We had a Retreat cabana for 3 weeks last March. As discussed in that thread, KDAM's cabanas are a little smaller, and don't have as much furnishings. This bothers a number of people, but didn't bother us, we enjoyed the cabana none the less.

 

If you are interested, the Family Cabanas are MUCH smaller. We were disappointed.

Is cruising the Caribbean in October too much of a risk for bad weather?

There is a cruise on the Koningsdam on 18th October for 11 nights, but dont have any experience of cruising during this month.

I added a OBC at about 1300 yesterday and my wife added more later in the afternoon received confirmation from TA who booked cruise via e-mail at 1700 UK time

I've never been able to find purchased OBC on the website. I'd bring a printed copy of the confirmation email.

Thanks for that. If people wait until onboard, then are they running the risk of excursions being full etc? Also, can you buy the dining packages onboard, or do they become full as well?
