  1. Symphony is still under construction and does not begin revenue cruises until next year.

Yes, I was working on the assumption that Symphony would be identical to Harmony with regards to the staterooms. Was just curious as to the layout. We were on Harmony with a balcony in summer 2016, so was looking to compare the small interior room with the balcony room. The only picture I can find from Harmony shows the bed arrangement and a single chair, not a sofa as you would get with the larger interior rooms.

  2. Great job with the blog! Really enjoyed your Harmony one last year as we sailed her a few months later. This year we are back on Indy, so great to get a fresh perspective. One question for you to do with the Casino. Last year on Harmony the minimum table bet for roulette was $5. Whereas on our previous cruises on Indy and Liberty it was only $1. Just curious, as if it is now $5, I won't bother bring any dollars for just a bit of fun.

  3. , but the waiter we had (Shubert) was brilliant.

He is the best! We had him eleven years ago when we was an assistant waiter and have had him as a waiter on a couple of other ships over the years.

Did he happen to say how long he is going to be on? We are on Harmony over US Thanksgiving week and would book wonderland just to have him as a waiter for the night.

Sorry, never thought to ask how long he would be on board. Was having too great a time. Shubert definitely made the evening. Think it is fair to say he really enjoys the interaction with his diners. He seemed very genuine and certainly the best waiter we have ever encountered on any of our previous four cruises.

  4. Just off Harmony yesterday. Best food experience of the week was Wonderland. Absolutely amazing. My wife is quite a picky eater and was a little unsure of it before hand, but the waiter we had (Shubert) was brilliant. He explained everything about the dishes and asked about likes and dislikes. He ended up bringing us three main courses to share and also all three desserts. His idea, not ours, too maximise the chances of having something she really enjoyed. End the end we both were very full and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

  5. I was looking a little help to understand the menu in Wonderland.

Do you choice one item from each of the six areas, such as Sun, Earth, Water etc? Or do you pick and choose as many starters and mains as you wish, within reason!

Also how big are the portions? Are they like tasting menu portion sizes?

  6. Red-arrow (Max) above emailed me with a copy of the T&Cs that clearly outline the Premium Drinks package for a balcony stateroom booked in March for 2016.

I just didn't want to board in Barcelona and take the risk of a potential confrontation with Guest Services! Its a pity Royal just cant make it a little bit more clear on their Invoice. It doesn't help when you login on their website and view your cruise with the option to purchase the drinks packages! Makes you start to wonder!

  7. Hi Red-arrow

The Royal Caribbean invoice I received from my TA just states "All Inc and free grats". It doesn't specify which drinks package. I have a balcony booked and so know it should be a Premium package, but don't want to be boarding in Barcelona and for something to go wrong without any backup!

Probably sounds a bit paranoid, but better to be safe than sorry. Bit daft of me to not keep a copy myself!

Could you possibly upload an image of your paper copy so that I could print my own to take with me?

    Thanks

    Paul

  8. Would anybody have a PDF copy of the Booking terms and conditions they could post for bookings made during March 2015 for a cruise in 2016.

I have a Booking for Harmony of the Seas in July 2016, and when I made the booking there was a promotion giving the All-inclusive Drinks Package.

I was just looking to check the fine print of the offer I have.

    Thanks.

    Paul
