My military unit is having a a reunion cruise next month on a Carnival ship, causing this Princess guy to move over to the sister line for one cruise. So, a couple of questions, if I may, please:

    • Tea: I don't drink coffee, but do drink strong black (not herbal) tea. Does Carnival stock the MDR and buffet with good black tea (something a little vacation worthy than Lipton)?
    • Toiletries: Good quality or should I bring my own?
    • Breakfast: I'm a maple syrup purist. Does Carnival carry real maple syrup (not Aunt Jemima or some other corn-syrup based, artificially flavored stoff) or should I bring my own.
    • Wine: I presume Carnival will allow one bottle per adult to be brought on board?
    • Rum: We'll be in the Caribbean; if I buy some souvenir rum, can I bring it aboard for bringing home?

Thanks in advance for your forbearance and kind answers.

Try tea time everyday in the main dining room they have a pretty good variety of tea and other tasty tea time dishes that are not found anywhere else bringing a few of your favorite tea is not a bad idea just Incase

shampoo for me is a must of my own if you have long hair conditioning is a must for us ladies and I can’t  do theirs but my husband and son always are fine.

The rum /wine order it from the fun shop and have a bottle send to your room the same day you cruise and enjoy it. 1 (800) 522-7648 easiest way to run it up!!

  2. This thread is about wine. For other questions, check out the first page or so and see if there is a similar thread going, or start a new one.

You might want to read this hijacking thread to understand how these forums work. Your post was not offensive or a problem but was starting a new topic. No problem... just some information.

Thanks kindly any way [emoji56]it was just a question?

    Have a great day ! [emoji106]

  3. Good morning ☀️ I have a questions for you ?

Can anyone tell me if the package on line for specialty dining for 3 times is like 80.00 dollars. Is it the same price to purchase on board also.

Or is this special pricing online? So get them ahead of time.

Am I going to use them?? Is the specialty restaurants that yummy??[emoji39]

    Thanks in advance

  4. You will pay the corkage fee when you board and take the wine to your cabin. Then you take it to the dining room for corking. You will have the choice of drinking the entire bottle (my choice), leaving the rest in the dining room for safe keeping or take it back to your cabin.

What their corkage fee ? And how many bottles can you bring aboard with you per adult?

  5. I've done it with my dear family dd17 Ds 19 DH 51& myself , assign closet, drawers , shells and it's very doable. But once a day for five minutes everyone in the morning and evening pick up their stuff to control the mess. It will be fine. Enjoy your cruise!!

  6. Hi all,

We have non-Carnival excursions in Belize and Grand Cayman.

With Belize, we are booked with .biz for cave tubing (Vitalino) and it says to get off the boat asap (boat docks at 9am). How early should we get to the tender ticket location? And the location to get the tickets will be in the Fun Times, correct?

In Grand Cayman, we are with Capt. Marvin's for stingrays and our boat docks at 10am ship time, and we are supposed to be with Capt. Marvin at 11:45 am ship time. Do we have plenty of time (1hr 45 min)? Should we queue early?

FTTF is available for my sailing right now, but I would prefer to keep the $50 if I just have to wait a few minutes and put in only a little effort.

I would buy the FTTF to be sure you tender early

  7. I have an issue

I book a balcony room and checked price like a month again and had a small OBC so I thought. When I call the rep told me that it was a different sale I booked on and wouldn't be receiving the OBC , but she told me to hold and came back and upgraded me to a spa room ...price difference about 3 hundred .

So here my issue I checked again today and had a difference of three hundred

Do I call for an OBC or is it asking to much ? Please give me opinion.

  8. It's your vacation relax...sometimes not planning anything is more fun then, to over plan. Best advise I have for you is to not over pack and buy landyards for your ss card easy in and out and never lose it.

Enjoy your cruise adventure learn as you go 😃 it will be fun

  9. Well , I think you should have a talk with him and explain your worries and concerns about his diet . His is old enough to understand and make good choices for himself . Like the light options suggestion, but keep in mind that you are on a vacation and you are there to enjoy your selfs no fun to be on guard the whole cruise. Maybe give a free check for the cruise or do the diet together as encouragement for him. Walking the track and talking together , swimming, ect.

I hope my suggestions helps and wish You the very best on discussion and decision. Happy travels
