Roz, if you search for Uniworld under Cruise Reviews, you will see what I'm referencing in the recent reviews there.

Thank you so very much for your detailed review. We will be going on our very first Uniworld cruise later this year, and, quite frankly, I had read so many reports lately of Uniworld's decline, that I was becoming very nervous!

What was the onboard booking discount--and is it worth it to wait to book on board (in your opinion)?

Thanks for the info!

Thank you Robin and SOShrink! From my reading of options on the Grand France cruise, I understood there was a "Chef's Table" dinner, so I assume this is something different. Robin--how did everything taste?

Did you find it worth the extra expense?

Thank you so much. Beautiful music, too!

Thanks for the food pictures. Everything looks delicious!

Thank you so much for this dialogue. We are going in September, and I'm beyond excited. First time on Uniworld!

Thanks to everyone for the information!

I drink Diet Coke as well and usually buy the 25.00 card, as it gets you 50.00 worth of fountain drinks. It usually lasts me the week and whatever is left is credited back to my onboard account on the last night.
Good idea!

I take a carton of Diet Coke on board.
Thank you. Do they have to be in a luggage case, or can you carry it on as is?

Hello, Everyone!
We are taking our first Holland America cruise in February, and we haven't taken a cruise in many years, as we usually do land trips. My husband is a big Diet Coke drinker during the day (saving alcohol for the evening :) I see that there is a Fountain Drink package. In your experience, is this worth the price? Do fountain drinks, ice tea, and coffee come "free" at meal time, or is there always a charge for your drinks with the meal?
Median age on UniWorld? Crystal? Scenic?

Do you wear a sports jacket on Uniworld dress-up nights? What was the percentage, since I understand many men don't wear one. Thanks.
