Hi! I am booking  flight from Vancouver to Newark, NJ -USA with a stop in Calgary - where do I clear US customs? If it is Calgary is an 1 hour and 55 minutes enough time?  Thanks 

Hello all- sailing 3/24 out of NYC- bid rejected - rcd email at about 2 o’clock today.  I had booked sail away mini-suite (they booked me midship 12th deck)  bid 100 pp so 200 total on spa mini suite.  Knew it was low but figured why not try!  And like where my assigned cabin is so all good. I purchased thermal spa passes. So ok! 

How does it work with other person in cabin? For example I’m the primary person on all cruise documents since I booked it. When my husband tried to set up a login and password after he downloaded the app it didn’t recognize him or his latitude number. I want to be able to messen him during cruise. Thanks 

Just want to mention it was not a hardship to bring the umbrellas. Just slung over shoulder. The clamshells are weird and claustrophobic. Lol!! Even if I couldn't use the umbrellas it was worth the try. It worked out well for me. It would be so much better if beach umbrellas could be rented. The sun is so strong.

Yikes! Is the sand that hard on the whole island? I just bought a compact beach umbrella for the cruise so I sure hope I didn't waste my money. I don't think the one I bought can be used without anchoring it into the sand.

It may have been only around our spot. We sat near entry way because we were meeting others from a later tender

There is shade but limited. I would suggest getting in line early for tender tickets - I wanted til after 8 and there was a long line. I got 12 not too bad. Also they started calling tender numbers earlier than planned. We literally watched a family stop mid bite and run when announcements started. Lol!! So be ready to move!! Have fun. We had so much fun. Also I rented floats and my 50 dollar excursion was applied- didn't expect this. Pleasantly surprised!!

Home today from Gem 7/8 - 7/15. We brought 3 beach umbrellas to GSC!! I purchased a beach umbrella carry bag - it held 1 large umbrella and 2 smaller umbrellas. We were tender ticket 12 -- when we got to island we were able to find a group of loungers with some shade. The Sand was hard so we did not use the larger beach umbrella because it had to be twisted into sand. But the smaller ones we just kind of wedged between chairs sticking in sand. (No wind). It was absolutely no problem to check in umbrellas at pier in NYC - stuck in corner in cabin - carried over shoulder on tender. Only comment made by security boarding back onto ship " what is this". We answered beach umbrella and put through screener. So NO PROBLEM --- island is hot !!! Had a great time

I asked a similar question and I decided to bring 2 beach umbrellas! I figure worst case I am told NO!! Glad to see the pic with the umbrella:)

hi. Part of our cruise group is booking Atlantis through the cruise line while others Bahama Day Pass. Can anyone suggest a pool we cam meet up at that wouldn't be overly crowded. We won't have cell phones so will be like the old days. I checked out the pools online. I thought the grotto pool looks nice but not sure. My first time there looks big and confusing!:confused:

Hi. Cruising in July - going to hit Atlantis so was wondering about the pros and cons of booking through NCL or Bahama day pass? Seems pretty simple to do on own and skip the whole cruise bus etc. Thanks

Thanks all very much for answering my question! Well I think my plan will be take my beach umbrella from home and check it in at pier. I live in NYC and carry a beach umbrella on subway/bus to get to beach. I just sling over my shoulder so shouldn't take much room on tender. I will post on how this works out. Should be interesting!! lol

HI I am allowed to check in a beach umbrella and bring it to Great Stirrup? Cabanas are booked and clamshells look a bit claustrophobic.

We are interested in renting a large cabana ***** GSC. So my question is - it's for 8 people so are others allowed to join us as our guests? Or do we have to hire bouncers to keep the rest of the family out? lol Thanks!!
