In 2013 I stayed at a hotel in Cocoa Beach that offered not only a shuttle to the port, but transportation to and from the airport.  I thought I had done a review, but can't find it, and can't remember the name.

Any suggestions of hotels in either Cocoa Beach or Port Canaveral that offer something like this.  They have many cruise and park options but that's not what I need.  My only real requirement is stuff to do within walking distance.  I'm planning on a 2 night stay before my cruise on 2/8/22.

    Thanks!

Following because this is exactly what i need on jan 29 ( well 27th coming in! )

  3. wondering the same. anyone have incite?

I am looking for something to do while our Carnival ship is in port at Amber Cove. Other than the waterfalls, none of the ship excursions look particularly interesting so I started looking outside the cruise line. Several operators include this cable car ride and now we are thinking of grabbing a cab and going to the Fort and the Cable Car. I find it kind of odd that the cable car is not part of any ship excursions and it made me wonder if it is still open post hurricanes or if it breaks down a lot so the ships don't want to take a chance on you getting stuck etc. Seems like it would be a nice little trip but the fact it is not included in any ship tour makes me wonder if it is a little sketchy or something. We are not afraid to go out on our own but want to make sure we are not making any mistakes in our choices. If you have any input on this I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
  4. I read many pages here & appreciate all the info since i had no idea about these gift cards, but my emails dont have codes to earn points & when i go to website there are many quiz opportunities but no reward point attached to most of them. How do you know what quizes give awards? Tyvm in advance for the help.

  5. I'm just responding to the post about not paying 35$ on land for a good steakhouse. Thought I volunteer this:

Del Frisco's participates in Philadelphia restaurant week & is 35$ for 3 course. :) probably other cities too.

Morton's sometimes have prix fixe meal coupon for 40$pp. :)

When not on a cruise, try these deals!

  6. these post a little ambiguous to me still. lol ;) w/so much trouble on the RCCL web site I gave up trying to book my dining & coordinate the shows, but I am still worried that times will be all taken as a "walk-in" and we will be stuck w/dinner in the buffet. now, my head/cruising experience knows this is unlikely but can't help but pine :( ............. guess time will tell. ;)

  7. We used Rome in Limo for all our tours in Roma pre cruise. We were a party of 4 & 6. We did a night time highlight, all day rome , a tuscany tour and then from the ship in Naples. We were please w/all the tours and drivers and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Our drivers were Alberto, night tour of Rome, Franco and Nikki were our driver and guide All day Rome and then Giovanni from the port of Naples. GREAT going guys and thank you for a great expeience in Italy !
