  1. Could someone please advise me the dates of school holidays in the US in March 2015. We have a B2B booked out of San Juan 7th & 14th March 2015 on Summit. As we come from Australia we are not familiar with US school holiday seasons. What can we expect cruising on these dates (children / teen wise). Must admit we have been fortunate and not encountered many kids on any of our previous cruises. Not that I'm against children, just don't want to be over run by them.

  2. Thanks to my fellow aussie cruisers I've just found out that OBC can be pre-purchased at rate of $1AUD = $1USD so I'm planning to stock up!

Question is - how much? I called X & they said that pre-purchased OBC is non refundable.

We are sailing for 7 nights departing from San Juan.

Free classic package has been upgraded.

We aren't doing any excursions via X

Planning on eating at Bistro 5 on embarkation day

Unsure about the speciality restaurants or spa treatments

Has anyone been in a similar position? With all the necessities pre paid, how much is your account at the end of your cruise?

It doesn't sound to me like you will need too much on board spending as you already have your beverage requirements sorted but as an Aussie cruiser and with our low $ I would love to know how you buy US$ on board credit at A$ rates.

  3. Nice to see that celebrity want to give their customers the best deal possible.

BUT NOT IF YOU RESIDE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.

We aren't being allowed this great promotion. So will be on a ship where a lot of the passengers have a free drink package. But we will need to purchase one at $550 per person.

    Lovely!!!!!!

Sorry, maybe I'm missing something. I understand your problem if you book through a UK agent as this promo is not allowed and I also see Australian's saying the same, so don't book through them, by the way I'm Australian. Just book through a US agent. I book al of my cruises through a US agent and am getting all of the benefits. I have two cruises booked now with the 123 promo through a US agent. I also don't understand the issue of not seeing it in your currency, just do the conversion, if it is good then book it. There is nothing to say you can't book something in US$'s on your UK or Australian credit card. Maybe I'm missing something but it is working for me.. I don't understand the issue but if someone can tell me I'm missing something I'm happy to listen...

  4. Our European cruise has no availability in any veranda cabin categories so I can't add the 123 and pay the rate of the day. My question is has anyone had success getting the 123 promotion added to a booking if they downgrade a category.

There are some excellent location ocean view cabins remaining and I don't have to have a balcony to sit on - we've got so much sun in Australia at the moment that we try and avoid it at all cost...

By getting the grats & beverage package included I would save in excess of $1200 if I downgraded. By the way I always intened to buy the classic beverage package regardless of this promo and still will even if I have no luck.

Anyone had any luck doing this?
