I usually pack and unpack about 3-4 times. Then end up doing a final pack the night before. And I do overpack. Sad but true lol!

I will be on the Breeze, for the 1st time, in about 40 days. I will be taking a 1st time cruiser with me. Hope everything goes well.

Thanks for the info on passports getting stamped. I will have to try it next time. I agree that the straw market can be a little too much. I remember buying something from one person and had about 4-5 other vendors follow me all over the rest of the market trying to get me to buy something from them.

I take a bunch of pocket sized hand sanitizer bottles and wet wipes. On every cruise, someone has gotten sick, so i always have cough syrup, cough drops, allergy meds. The one time i did not carry these items, I got sick and had to pay $$$ on the ship.

I am going though this with my husband right now. HE chose this cruise that is coming up in December and I paid the total cost. Now he says he will not be able to go. I have already been to this port 2 before and don't really care to see these places again. But I can just stay on board and visit the spa or something. I was told to just treat him as a no-show.

Ugh! My friend was pic pocketed while we were running to catch the bus in Pisa about 3 years ago. The bus driver and several passengers saw the guy and even described his shirt color to us but this was after we boarded the bus she she realized she could not find her bus ticket or wallet. The bus was already moving and we had to get off and walk to the police station. She was able to get another credit card overnighted to her at the hotel in Venice. I hope everything worked out for them.
