So it seems the Disney JVD excursion appears as an option and then disappears from day to day. Some who scheduled were informed that it had been cancelled and some who scheduled were confirmed. Guess it's a crap shoot but don't want to chance it cuz those who were cancelled were last minute and scrambled to find other options. And options are very limited unless you are willing to spend your life savings on a afternoon of fun. Rates I found were anywhere from 80 to 120 each person one way !!!!!!!! ANYONE out there that has done the JVD excursion please weigh in on what company you went with, the cost and level of satisfaction, please !!!! Getting desperate !!
I'm cruising on the Epic in November and my group is using a private company called Kuralu. One member of my group has used them before and they were very happy with the tour. From what I can see, they get nothing but rave reviews. They charge $120.00 per person and that includes an open bar, lunch, snorkeling equipment, and a 14 person maximum so that your not packed in like sardines. Check the maximum number, but I'm pretty sure that it's very close to 14. Check http://www.kuralu.com
Have a great cruise!

Ah, ok, didn't know I was looking for the impossible!! Thanks!
You're not. Hyatt Pier 66 have a cruise and park package that includes parking for up to 10 days, breakfast, and a shuttle to the port.

I was on the Carnival Fantasy when she was brand new, way back in 1991. The ship was full and there was always a wait at the elevators. My wife and I were waiting in the atrium area for one of the glass elevators so that we could get up to the pool. When it arrived I held the door and let everyone off and then my wife, along with five other ladies, all in their early twenties, got on. That left very little room for me to squeeze in, me being 6'4'/200lbs. I was 29 at the time and in pretty good shape. All of us were in our bathing suits. Anyway, I got on the elevator facing everyone and decided that I should turn around and face the door because these girls were gorgeous, as is my wife, but let's just say that their swimwear was a little more adventurous than hers. Unfortunately, as I turned to face the door, I hit one of the ladies square in the boob with my elbow. I thought I"d have a stroke on the spot and apologized. She didn't skip a beat, and said "if your d... gets as hard as your elbow I'm in cabin 4018". My mouth must have been hanging open because all of the girls, except my wife that is, thought it was just hilarious. After that, every time my wife saw them she'd give them her best :Ddeath stare.

Thanks for the info, that's good to know.

I wonder if that's also good for an upgrade from classic to premium?

Our first cruise was on the brand new Carnival Fantasy way back in 1990. It was a four day cruise that stopped in Nassau and Freeport, and we have been hooked ever since.

I agree, do you have to surprise them at Naples? What if you just surprised them ON the ship? At that point they still wouldn't know everyone is cruising together right? Maybe you all should set a meeting time for a specific place and meet on board. Whoever is with your parents could just say, "oh lets go down to __ place for a drink at 2pm" and just have everyone else be there too?
I think $500 each way to get everyone where they are going just for the surprise is an awful lot of money to spend...
Agreed ! Go Cats!
