  1. Hi! They have the Wonder for $2,400 and the Dream for $3,100 during the time that we can go. Is the Dream worth the extra money for a 3 day cruise? If so, what are some of the perks on the Dream besides size? We would love a 4 day cruise ($3,400) but that is really pushing it with our budget since we plan to do Universal park for a couple of days after the cruise. Technically, we could afford it but we just returned from an extended trip and we have several trips planned before this one so we would like to keep the cost down. However, if there is a huge difference between the Dream/Wonder we might consider switching ships. This will be our second cruise but first time on Disney. Deposit is due tonight for the Wonder so I need to make a decision. Thanks....

How did you like wonder. We did Wonder in 2007 before refurbishments, then Dream twice and now the Wonder is available at a decent price for my family of 5. So, I am wondering if I want to take the plunge given that my kids did Dream twice (as recently as 2015). Not sure if they will be disappointed. How did you like it? I am really interested in the kids rooms. I will have a 15, 12 and 9 year old.

  2. Has anyone attended a Carnival Groups Shared Cocktail party? Our group has a free one arranged for 1 hr. Do you know if it is invitation only and if it normally takes place on port day or sea day? Also, were all drinks offered or only cocktails? Lastly, were there several groups mixed with yours? Any help would be appreciated. I can't find any posts past the 2012 year. I was just checking for updated information. Thanks...

  3. Does anyone know if the inside and oceanview are re-done in the same color palette. The website is showing flat screen tvs, etc as a part of the virtual tour but they are still orange in color, etc. Just wondering if all cabins have been done in the soothing blue color scheme. The balcony cabins look awesome.

  4. Oh man that stinks. We've sailed Disney and a few other lines over the past 10 years and have been pretty lucky. Although I am from Miami and am used to unforeseen closings for hurricanes or horrible weather, I totally understand how disappointing that would be for your family and it stinks if Disney offered a standard auto reply response to your concerns whether it is there fault or not...simple sincerity can go a long way in de-escalating situations, making customers feel appreciated, and creating long term loyal customers. Perhaps you will have better luck next time because it really can happen on any cruise. Don't fret over most of these replies from folks telling you how this should teach your kids a life lesson, etc., just ignore that silliness. Really, some of these replies seem so mean spirited. Enjoy your next cruise. I sure plan to enjoy mine. Headed for Disney Dream in the Fall!
