During our 2 week cruise aboard Sky in January I talked to daughters every day on FaceTime.

Sailed 3095 on Star. The views in and out of the Flam fjord were outstanding.

Yes they provide a tour of the bridge during a time in port. The announcement in made in the daily bulletin for signup at the Explorers Desk. Well worth the visit.

If you download the Viking ap the 2017-2019 Viking Oceans catalog is available. Going thru it I noted that there are some 2019 cruises available but most of the itineraries only go thru 2018.

It really depends upon the location. Shuttle bus service is not always provided and catching a later bus may not be possible because of available seats.

A lot of the show scheduling depends upon the number of cruise days.

I have been using FaceTime on my IPad all over Europe using Viking ship and riverboat WiFi with limited problems.

Use Facetalk on your IPhone. It's free using Wifi. I use it all the time on Viking river boats and cruise ships.

Depends upon the temperature and the shoe you are comfortable with. I wore Keen sandals the whole cruise in June.

In the tours area the included tours are marked "included ".

Celiac cruiser: We used $ and Euros throughout our Homeland Cruise in 2015. As long as you give US bills and not change or Euros guides and drivers had no problem.

My guess is that they will run both. If I recall the Sea is going to take the world cruise starting in Miami and would be a smart way to bring her from the European area to the Americas. The Sky will stay and do the same itineraries the Star is doing this year. This s is only a GUESS?

Once you get aboard you will get a chance to make reservations at both restaurants. On my Homeland cruise, I was able to make one reservation at each in advance because of my room category. Once aboard I was able to make more. We are at Manfredi's 4 times. Enjoy you cruise.

You can bring all the wine and beer aboard with no problem. In my opinion, the Silver Beverage Package is not needed unless you spend a lot of time at the bar. Also, the real cost is times 2 since both people in the room must take the Package.

The included beverage package, which includes free wine, beer and soft drinks at lunch and dinner is free.

Excursions slots are added all the time. Just keep checking.

We were in a DV1 at the tail end and had no noise.

Last summer on our cruise I tipped in Euros and US $ with no problems. As long as you pay in bills they can convert with no problems.

Are the aft-facing DV1 rooms desirable?

We cruised in stateroom 3095 twice - Homeland and Midnight Sun - and enjoyed the views, especially the views exiting the fjords. Water from the infinity pool is no problem.
