Currently In montenegro. weather perfect. Plusses- service and food excellent. I miss the hard copies of everything. Not a computer guy. Air noisy and can't be tuned off. Nice to be remembered from previous cruises. Transfer from venice a real mess. Rethinking Amazon cruise next year. See how I feel by the time we reach Montreal!

Sailing from Ravenna next month on the Quest. Everything organized except transport from Venice airport to our hotel near San Marco. any suggestions? I'm not walking too well these days if that helps.
Thanks in advance for any help.

South America is WAY OFF my radar for quite awhile. In regards to COVID-19, this is one of the worst places in the world.
hoping 2023 should be safe!

We're a year later - 2023. Figure it should be safe by then . Deo volente

check carefully for India. The consulate in Vancouver told me that the e-visa was not good enough. you will need a multiple entry visa.
I too will be on that cruise!

From my experience, it depends on how you booked the b2b. If both cruises are on a single booking number, then your OBC will carry across the segments. If, however, both cruises are on separate booking numbers, your onboard account may close at the end of the first segment and any OBC could be forfeited. That was our situation on b2b cruises with separate booking numbers. We were able to override this by speaking to staff at Seabourn Square early in the first segment and they made sure our OBC carried across.
thanks for the info - it is two separate booking numbers

Are you leaving Bali on the 3rd of Dec heading to Sydney?
If so we will see you on board
Yup - that's the cruise
-
On back 2 back cruises, does the OBC transfer the new segment or must it all be used up on the first segment? Going from Dubai to Bali and Bali to Auckland.
Thanks to all for your responses.

Hi folks,
I'm not much of a wine drinker but do like a good craft beer (or two). I'll be on the Encore from Dubai to Auckland Nov - Jan 2019. Any hope of a decent beer on board? Thanks to all in advance.

Not a happy camper here either. Airline change fees much higher than very meager offer. Have booked now from Dubai to Auckland but if deal not sweetened will seriously consider making this my last Seabourn cruise.

Just off the explorer. It seems anything goes. A little more formal Christmas and New years but even then blue jeans were not uncommon

We fly to Buenos Aires for a stay before we board the Explorer for our first Silverseas adventure. Looking forward to seeing the Antarctic. Was on Crystal's Northwest Passage crossing last year. Thought we should get to the other end of the world!

Actually I meant the Explorer. Antarctica in December.

What type of electric sockets are there in the staterooms? Thanks in advance.

The only information I seem to be able to find is that the new menus will be rolled out in the fall of 2015 - the restaurants starting in 2016. I was wondering if the new menus might be available for my fall cruise this year
-
Any word as to when his menus might be appearing? I'll be on the Odyssey Sept 26 - Oct 28.
Thanks in advance.

Message received and thanks all.

Do they ever have any North American craft beers on the QM departing from NY? If not, What available British beer would be similar to an IPA or Pale Ale? I'm travelling Queens Grill, so could I request (successfully, I hope) to have my mini bar stocked with an American (or Canadian) craft beer? Thanks in advance for your replies.
