  1. Taking my 70 year old mother with us. Hubby does not like cold water. Booked Harv and Marv for Juneau and looking at sled dogs for Skagway. There will be six of us in our group. We are not athletic, but we can also walk with no trouble

  2. That is a weekday arrival. No major congestion expected at this time. Looking at booking.com in USD for two people. With nearly a year away.... some prices will go up and others will go down.

I like the Barclay price, but Auberge offers good value for the location close to the cruise terminal.

You might want additional days to enjoy all the Vancouver activities.

    Thank you for the info!

  3. We will be flying into Vancouver, I would like to fly in the day of our cruise, but I'm thinking it is safer to go the day before. That means we would be there July 3rd. Any suggestions would be welcome!

  4. Great info CruiseNurse,

I'm afraid the hubby and I love napping too! We have a balcony and I plan on booking a whale watching excursion - I've seen references to Harv and Marv. Wondering if I need a new camera with a better zoom. I also need to buy rain jackets.

  5. Thank you so much for all the great ideas! Our cruise is July 2018 when the hubby has his vaca time. We are going on Princess which includes Glacier Bay, College Fjord and inside passage. One way from Vancouver to Whittier. Hubby and I have a balcony, son (16) and Granny (70) in inside room and daughter and boyfriend in another inside room (21). I think the excursions I really want to do are whale watching and sled dogs. We love having dinner together on cruises in the past.

Does every person need binoculars or just each couple?

  6. This is my seventh cruise but my first time going to Roatan. I have seen posts for beaches and dolphin encounters but not sure what my daughter and I should do. My daughter is 18 and we are taking a mother-daughter cruise together. Any recommendations from experience cruisers? If we go to the beach how do I get there? Do I just take a taxi? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
