We loved the coffee.  We had lattes every night.  The crew really knows what the are doing.  The vanilla bean latte was our favorite and we usually don't Ike vanilla!  Hope you enjoy!

We got off Ruby on the 18th.  I agree, the food was horrible at best. We did like the lobster mac and cheese, beef medallions and the omelets at breakfast.  I'm sure we didn't gain weight on our cruise!

I noticed on the Princess website it states you can save 20% if you buy the card before your cruise. Am I correct in thinking that is basically the gratuity? If you bought it on the ship, you would pay gratuity?

Sailing from Vancouver to Los Angeles in October. Will the pools be pen on this trip or will it be too cold? From the midwest, so not familiar with the weather on the coast.

Does anyone know if golf carts can be rented to get around Victoria from the cruise ship pier? I have very bad knees and would like to see downtown with a little freedom. I know their are electric bikes and scooters for rent, but would really like a golf cart type thing. Thanks!

i was just read g the different celebrations on different Princess Cruises depending on the ship and the destination. It appears that Oktoberfest is fleet wide. Has anybody been to one of these?

Is there a wine or drink list for the MDR? Occasionally, I like a glass of wine with dinner.

I am ready to book a cruise and have narrowed it down to two different ones. The only difference is that one goes to Glasier Bay and the other to Tracy Arm Fjord and I don't know which would be the best to see. Any help would be great!

I like my steaks pittsburgh style. Extremely well done. Basically, a cow that has been cremated.

I was on Navigator of the Seas in October 2003 and I thought the food was awful. We only ate in the dining room twice for dinner and once for lunch. All were awful. In fact, at lunch I sent mine back for something else. The room service was very disappointing. You could get burgers but you would get a very dry bun. The best thing we got with room service were cookies, ice water and salad.

The windjammer wasn't very good either, but once again you could eat enough soup and salad to get full.

The best meal we had was at Chops. It was worth every penny.
