We are booked in room 11027 on the Sun Deck. However, is the balcony not large enough for deck chairs? 😮 What is a Juliet-style step out balcony? We made the mistake booking a spa cabin in 2019, thinking the spa pass would come with it, like it did on our prior Carnival cruise, but it didn't. I thought 11027 would be a nice compromise, but we want to at least be able to sit out on the balcony and have coffee!

I did this today. Booked the Rotterdam on black Friday with a guarantee verandah cabin. They assigned us category VF, which is terrible. I called today, got an upgrade to VB, with the have it all perks, for less money. Very happy!

I'm following because we booked cabin 1175 for our 2020 cruise. I'd rather spend the extra money on a retreat cabana.

Am I seriously reading this correctly? We have booked a spa ocean view cabin on Maasdam for next month, and it does not come with spa passes??? That's the main reason we booked that cabin! We had a spa cabin on Carnival Dream and it came with two spa passes. I had planned to use my OBC for massages, not passes.:mad:

Thank you everyone that replied. I asked because my husband and I are not "high maintenance" cruisers, but we would like to take advantage of all amenities offered. Also, this is the first cruise where we have to fly to the port, so I'm trying to narrow down our packing list. Getting excited!;p

I read one one post about bath robes that there are other free hidden amenities you can request. If we don't know about them, how do we request them?

I would check with your TA or HAL (where ever you booked) to be certain, but if you do get upgraded (to most likely a Vista suite) you could lose the SPA package

We booked an ocean view spa cabin, verandah deck on Maasdam. If we keep the guaranteed, what would be considered an eligible upgrade, where we don't lose the spa package?

I took my daughters to Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel. We had massages on the beach and they were AMAZING! Two for $60 and they lasted an hour. Very professional and set the bar high. We can't wait to go back!:D
