@dockhl after 3 maintenance crews tried to close the rear door (unsuccessfully) it was canceled. Then Alaska rebooked everyone on a flight into SeaTac arriving at 1am but failed to notify anyone, I would've taken it & spent today in Seattle. Love Seattle. Looking at a screen saying I could've even laid over in Portland (OR). Ah well. I'm back at the airport off to a 3 hr layover at O'Hara. With the same Xmas songs playing (over & over as nauseum) for a flight leaving in 4 hrs. Worst experience ever. No games on yet just 1 sound track. Hoping that changes soon --
Oh man, I am sorry. That is horrible.

As to I95. Just repeated what we were told. Google it for yesterday morning

We are staying at the H10 Madison and watched a huge proPalestinian demonstration for 1+ hours last night from our balcony! Stirring, and very loud 🙂
This AM the streets around the hotel will be closed for the women’s marathon (?)…some race, from 8-12. We’ll get to the port a little later than we wanted, maybe, but it is all good! We’re getting on the ship today! See y’all soon .

We did a night-time tour there with them a few years ago (also in Barcelona and San Sebastian!). We happened to be the only two on our Madrid tour--it was fantastic! Totally different than what you just did. What a great way to check out the local restaurants.

Great advice about bringing that as when our friends got covid, none was to be found on the ship.
......except neither of our docs will Rx it without a cause (+ test or symptoms) !!!!

We had exactly the same problem on this ship in Sept'22 (09-02-2022 Enchanted Princess (British Isles & Norway Passage,TA West to NY). NO internet for days! They told us it was an unusual, temporary problem. What the heck is up with the internet on this shiP? Does it happen anywhere other than TA's?

Well, I was late to THAT show LOL! I had hoped. Thanks, all.

I seem to recall that there was a way you could bring family onboard for lunch? Does that still exist?

I just made myself a watch-type bracelet with a removable band and Air Tag holder (from Amazon). Not super sleek but comfy, can change bands according to what I am wearing and INEXPENSIVE! I also have beaded lanyard type necklaces. I think I'll change the holder on the necklace to the black one...a little sleeker.

Thanks! I need to order some and get busy making some beaded lanyards...we sail Sept. 2!

I ordered this one on Amazon. It doesn’t work. It holds just fine, but the metal edges block the signal and you have to take it out each time.
had to go back to the plastic one it came in. [4 Pack] Premium Metal Case with Key Ring Compatible for AirTags, Rhinestone Bling Frame Drop Protection Shock-Absorbing Anti-Scratch Protective Cover Keychain https://a.co/d/6YBIMWcAre the Medallions and the Air Tags the same size? There are lots of things on Amazon for Air Tags!

We did the Chef's table on the Sky November 2019; it was great (as usual 😉). Here's a link to pictures:

Best to consider other then an infinite veranda. You can get a true balcony Aft, so you will be able to leave your balcony door open. The infinite balcony window can be closed by the captain. Also, if you leave the balcony door open, the AC will shut off, making the cabin very hot and uncomfortable . The ship also has some cove type balconies towards the front of the ship.

good advice. We switched to a sunset verandah; I think our traveling companions will be much happier...and I will, too! Thanks~Kathy

The folding doors are glass. But if they are open or closed, it won’t matter — when you open the window, the room air conditioning goes off.
lots more commentary here
Lot's of info there! Thank you!

OH....I thought there were doors between the veranda and room that were glass and folded. Thanks!

When cruising I love to leave my balcony door open a little for the fresh air. Will I be able to do that with the Infinite Veranda? Leave the window down and the inner glass doors open? Will it turn off the AC?
So much new to learn on a new ship! 😉 Thank you!

Aha! Thanks for the explanations. I truly appreciate it.
