The boarding process on our Norwegian Joy trip on May 15th was horrid due to the Bermuda authorization process. The Bermuda government couldn't keep up with the volume of Provisional status and switching over to final status . So we all got checked in at the pier in nYC but couldn't board the ship because we were still provisional status even though we had all submitted our negative tests. It was a nightmare! They finally let us board and w head to meet with Bermuda offfficals the next day and straighten it out.My husband got covid when w got home and i believe it was from standing in that line so long!Bermuda was great! Beaches were great! Did glass bottom boat tour. Went to the beach right at the pier it was great! Did Crystal caves and they were beautiful! The shows on the ship were great!Need masks when going through Bermuda terminals.Have a great time!

We were on the 5/15 Joy cruise to Bermuda and y husband returned with Covid! I am sure it was due to standing in line for 4 hours waiting for the provisional Bermuda authorization process gone wrong!!!!with about 300 other people some masked many not!!!

Off the Joy 5/22 (yesterday) and hubby and daughter tested positive today. Mild symptoms I tested negative but going for pcr because I feel that’s a false negative as I feel mildly sick. I think we were a little too lax with our mask wearing 😞

This is great news for all! We were on the JOY cruise on 5/15 and embarkation was a nightmare! We did the online testing for Bermuda uploaded the results got back a provisional status from Bermuda nota final. Neither did the other 400 -500 or so people that checked in and could not get on the ship in NYC with a provisional from Bermuda. We all stood in lines in the terminal for up to 4 hours waiting for 2 Bermuda officials trying to figure out final approvals for all! It was a nightmare. Eventually they let us on the ship if we promised to see Bermuda officials the next day! OMG! Bermuda could just not keep up with all the paperwork THEY requested! we got a final the next day within a few minutes .

What is the best cruise line recommended to see Italy?

No only one person could futon the sofa/chair. You could see in the glass front shelves so it was fine.We got use to the drawers pretty quickly. There were shelves above the dressing table also. We had plenty of spaces for things. And believe me I pack a lot of things!

We did hear some vibrations at times but not enough to interfere with or wake us up during the nite.

We just returned from our cruise on the refurbished summit! What a great job they did with this ship! I was so worried after reading all the recent bad reviews on the boards here. Have no worries! This is a beautiful ship with great staff! We had an oceanview cabin on deck three that was just great. The light colors, plenty of drawers, closet space, for everything, and i have lots of shoes and clothes! The bathroom is light and airy, there is room in the shower for your bottles and scrubby. The shelves are gone, but I hang my cosmetics bag anyway so there was no problem, bring something that hangs or has a hook for the door. There are shelves under the sink also. The shower has a lot of space. Our room attendant Bailey was awesome!
The dining room staff was wonderful, Santos and gang were very attentive, the food was great, love the lighter colors in the dining room. The menu was the same as last year.
The entertainment was good, comedy, show dancers, Paul McCartney Band, Movies outside, Ballet, you definitely have enough to keep you busy!
The ports were absolutely beautiful and we have no complaints! Even won money in the casino! Enjoy this ship its beautiful!

Drop by the Summit Revolution thread posted above. There aren't as many pictures as Millennium but we have promises from many that will be on next weeks cruise that will post pictures. I have a feeling we will see far more post Revolution pictures of Summit than Millennium at that point.
I think the major difference has been that Captain Alex and a Staff Captain were active posters on Millennium while the Summit staff have not been as active.
Thank you Jim that explains the lack of pictures posted , much less than the Millennium! I appreciate the answer!!
