Does anyone know if the Mardi Gras has switched to the star link yet and if so, have you used VPN on the darling? I use Cisco any connect and I’m hoping it works.

We weill be in Progresso for the first time in a few weeks. Our tour says they are allowed on the pier to come through the store snd they will be there. How far is the store on the pier. I dont think i can walk 5 miles on the pier

We have used Romeinlimo on two different Mediterranean cruises for several ports we did Palermo, Rome, Naples,Messina, Florence and several others. they are awesome they really are top notch. like I said we used them on two different trips and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The drivers are awesome they tell you about the history they make sure you have a good time, answer all your questions they’re so nice and polite. A couple of her drivers even put on some music we requested and everybody in the van was singing ..the driver was singing to us in Italian and it was just an awesome tor and excellent experience thanks to Romeinlimo. I also wanted to add if you’re ever in Florence you need to eat at a restaurant called Cosa Toscana it was recommended by Romeinlimo driver and it’s right there off the Square it is awesome and the best lasagna you will ever eat and if you tell them you want to go there they’ll take you there .

Has anyone used hotel n parking.com to book a room in Miami? I have read a ton of horrible reviews from bad customer service to shady hotels, anyone used them ? I booked a room but having second thoughts and now i cant log into my account i created. Logged in fine Sunday. I even tried to reset my password but the email says click the link and their is no link in the email to reset it? No one answers the phone, called 4 times today. Have not received a confirmation like the first emails says and hotel says they have no reservations for me? But my cc was charged the little 22.00 fee. Hmmm

Do any of these have the park and cruise deals? Our first time out of Miami so not a clue about the hotels there. Thanks for any help.

So,is this new menu on the Sunshine now? Still showing old menu on carnival site. We liked the Carbonara and Tiramisu and cannoli amd hubby liked the steak. I cant eat seafood so not intrested in the new menu at all..

I have done the Med in 2013 on the Legend and in 2016 on the Vista Inaugural. We loved the Mediterranean and loved the beautiful cities and countries that we went too. Italy is amazing, Greece and all the other countries are also. We have done Alaska on the Miracle in 2014 and just got off the 14 day Alaska Journeys cruise on the Miracle again. Alaska is also amazing. Both are different. If you want scenery and wildlife then i say Alaska. If you want history, art, culture and the most amazing food ever then I say the Mediterranean. Really cannot compare them they are so different. But either one is an amazing experience.

Actually if you were on one of the cruises that had the itinerary changed you have until tomorrow at midnight to change your cruise with no penalty. No refunds are allowed, but you can choose another cruise. I know because they called me today to change over after i called to request and was told no yesterday. Then John Heald posted it to my question that we can change today, and it is on the CCL F page

We have used RIL several times for a total of 7 tours. we did a Med cruise in 20013 and just got back from the Vista Inaugural. They are by far the best we have ever used. You will NOT be sorry. They are so nice, and so professional and they enjoy sharing and telling you about their country and city. I will use them again when we go back to Italy in 2 years. Everyone on our tours loved them. We did the 8 person van and it is so much better and so much cheaper than Cruise excursions. They do all they can for you to make sure you have a great tour.

When you had internet it worked great. Lots of internet issues on the first sailing.

It is free to use. If you want to use the Chat feature it is 5.00 total for entire cruise not 5.00 a day. But each person that wants to chat pays 5.00 for the chat feature. Has some issues but pretty good app over all. You can pick out what pictures you want and delete the others, they did have some kinks as several ports we could see everyones pictures which made it had to find ours. I am sure they will work that out. 45.00 for the duration of the cruise if you want the social media package for like FB etc. you can see what is happening and times everything opens etc. we were also able to see our pictures on the TV( when it worked)

We just had this added to our Vista May1 cruise in place of Izmir.

Hi we have been on CC a long time. We are in Eastern NC

We were on the sunshine in October and the sunshine its self and all not bad at all the ship was fine I actually like the serenity deck they have better than some of the ships. My only issue is that your time dining you have to go to the fifth floor stand in line get a number then go down to the third-floor and stand in line and wait to be seated I did not care for that. I also don't think the food was very warm any of the nights on the Lido we only ended up in the main dining room one night because of your time dining situation. Otherwise it was fine. No smell of sewer and i have a very sensitive nose.

We love RIL and used them in 2013 for Rome, Messina , Naples and Livorno. All the drivers were wonderful and friendly and lots of photo ops. We have booked them again for May 1, on the Vista for all Italy ports. Highly recommend them

My biggest piece of advice would be stop overthinking it. It appears to me you're already looking for ways to not enjoy your vacation.

 

My first thought while reading your post was, if you need a stress-free "list" on vacation, you probably already chose the wrong vacation for you.

My thoughts exactly. Just go and cruise I have never been stressed on a cruise and I stress easily lol. Half your worry list is not something to even worry about
