Just booked 9320 on the Getaway in 2017 very excited miss being in the Aft with a deep balcony :)

We were in 9320 - it is NOT the one right next to the corner balcony, but one more over towards the center. We had 9322 as well (one more closer to center) and I can tell you that 9320 has the largest standard balcony on the ship. Part of it is due to the fact that Deck 9 has the deepest aft balconies, but the other part is that because of the divider placement, 9320 has an even bigger balcony that other B1s on that deck.

 

Noise from Spice H20 was never a problem, and that's with the bed near the balcony and a wife who is very sensitive to noise. It also offered a great balance between sun and shade. My wife prefers the shade and I prefer the sun, and we were both able to be out there, in loungers, and each enjoy our preferred space. Of course, as a previous poster indicated, much has to do with the ship's position relative to the sun.

 

Watching the sailaway from NY in an aft balcony was also quite a treat, as the skyline receded into the distance.

Thanks Charles do you know how frequently the bus goes to the Lighthouse from Church Bay?

Hi we were thinking about snorkeling @ Church Bay followed by climbing the lighthouse they appear to be relatively close. Is this walkable? I think I read in another thread that most of Bermuda's roads aren't really suitable for walking.

This is a terrific string thanks much. We plan on starting our day at HSB before the crowds then walk to Jopson's. After Jopson's meeting a group at A private resort at Elbow Beach, is this walkable to Elbow or should we hop back on the 7?

We found the storage to be adequate for us for a 7 day cruise. I did bring a hanging shoe bag (a lifesaver!) and lots of hangers. The pull down bar in the closet was helpful for hanging shorter items.

 

 

 

The cabin had a deep, angled balcony with a large overhang (from the pool deck above).

 

 

 

There was a view forward but aft views were blocked by the hump.

 

As I noted in my cabin report, there definitely was noise in the early mornings (6:00 a.m. or thereabouts) when chairs were being moved and occasional thudding from joggers but the balcony size and convenient location more than made up for those "issues."

 

After meeting our cabin steward Desmond from India and asking him for cheese plate in lieu of afternoon canapes, it was off to explore a little more before Muster Drill at 3:30 p.m.

Great review and pics Sandy. Ironically I have the same cabin booked for our 2014 cruise. This will be our first hump experience the last two have been in the aft. I wish the newer ships had Aqua in the aft but they seem to limit them now to suites and concierge class. How did you enjoy 2146 on the Reflection? I just took advantage of the Celebrity pick your perk promotion and booked 2146. We were suppose to do this identical itinerary on the Silhouette this year but had to cancel so we are already looking forward :)

I have 1133 booked 41 days can't wait!
