  1. You can check with the government site what is required

    http://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories

Never had any issues with most on your list

You may want to take a bug repellant with DEET in it

Thanks. The Canadian Gov't site only says that some of these countries require Yellow Fever vaccines if you've gone to a high risk country prior to entering the next country but it does not list the high risk countries themselves.

  2. My wife and I are travelling on the Riviera to the Southern Caribbean this coming November. We will be going to Martinique, St. Kitts/Nevis, Guadeloupe, Colombia (Santa Marta) St. Barts, Aruba, Bonaire, Venezuela (El Guamache/Isla Margarita), and Grenada. Some countries require Yellow Fever vaccines if coming from a country that has a Yellow Fever risk. Does anyone who has been to these destinations lately on a cruise know about requirements for Yellow Fever vaccines to enter any of these countries if coming from any of the other countries on the list (e.g., if coming from Columbia, do any of the other countries require a vaccine) ? Thank you for any information.

  3. We are travelling on the Riviera next November in the Caribbean. I am interested in what experiences people have had with obtaining deckchairs around the pool. As well, I am wondering about the rules for saving/holding chairs and the enforcement or lack thereof of the rules.

  4. When we sailed on the Regatta in a veranda stateroom for a 14 day trip, we had 1 guaranteed reservation in each of the 2 specialty restaurants. For a 14 day sailing on the Riviera, how many reservations are guaranteed for each of the 4 specialty restaurants if you are in a Penthouse Suite ?

  5. On the website take the sq ft of a C cabin from the sq ft of a B cabin then compare

    It will be approx

The R ships appear to have larger balconies at 51 Sq ft compared to 40 on the O class ships

Take a tape measure & report in

I did the math and got the same results - this assumes that the B and C cabins without the veranda included in the measurements are the same size and that the difference in size is all veranda. And this has to be the case on both classes of ship. I will report back when I return from the cruise - which is not until Nov/Dec, 2015

  6. That's what I thought but wasn't sure. We are doing a Caribbean cruise next year on the Riviera after doing two (Baltic and Transatlantic) on the Regatta and Nautica respectively. Really looking forward to the new ship, especially the specialty restaurants, Baristas and the added grill at the Terrace.

  7. Fun day at Juan Fernandez Isle yesterday.

Today...first of four sea days on the way to Easter Isle.

Angela had culinary class... and then cancelled the rest after one session with the so-called instructor. We'll leave it at that.

Great dinner at Polo last night.. tonite, Jacques and the NYE party on the pool deck.

Would you care to elaborate regarding the culinary class ? If not, no problem.
