Thanks very much tenpin and alicat58 for your replies.  That's a bit more reassuring to know, but I will be taking my ear plugs just to be on the safe side.  It is something I only saw after I had made my booking.

I have booked cabin 7434 on Costa Favalosa and have noticed on the deck plan that there is an area of "White Space" opposite.  Does anyone know what is in that area.  I'm concerned it is used for staff and so could potentially be noisy.  Thanks

Thanks very much greg2014 for the info.  I'm pleased the sauna is free - shame about the steam room but I suppose 1 out of 2 isn't so bad.
