Cruzinkitty40 - why in the world would you write that?  We researched before booking and obviously choose this cruise for a reason.  I'll be ecstatic just to be on a cruise ship and in Europe!  I'm sorry you didn't have a good trip but in my opinion attitude has a lot to do with it.

In reading many NCL boards it seems our cruise starting in Rome on May 20 has people boarding and departing on different dates.  Some people will already have boarded in Barcelona and I'm assuming getting off when we go from Rome to Barcelona.  (Hope that's not too confusing.)  As a result I'm finding no roll calls for our cruise but one for the cruise before us on May 16 - May 25.   I even tried to start my own roll call board with hardly anyone joining.  Is this typical to have people coming and going on different dates?   It seems crazy to me.  We've been on 4 other cruises, (not NCL), and never experienced this nor have I never had a roll call for our cruise.  Thanks for reading!

We sail the Epic May 20, 2023 starting and ending in Rome.  We do have the Free at Sea where we get 2 Specialty restaurant dinners.  However since it's a 10 day cruise we wondered if there is an option to book add'l nights once on board and how much they charge?  Thanks!

I'm def aware things may be different in the future - but I really believe that cruising will slowly resume and feel pretty confident over a year from now most major lines will be sailing.  I did put my deposit on a VISA and got cruise insurance.  I won't be getting air til we're under a year from our trip and will absolutely make sure it's refundable.

We are planning to fly into Rome a few days early.  Also our nephew and family live in Naples so plan to spend a few extra days on the return end a well seeing Cinque Terre and more of the Amalfi Coast.  😄

Thanks so much for all the responses!  I just double checked and we're at least 10 hours in each port.  Our only tender is Santorini.   I feel a bit better realizing most days there won't be much on board time.  (Though we do have 2 days at sea beginning and end of trip.)   So far this is the best itinerary for us than other lines are offering unless we add more than 11 days.

Hi.  We're in our 60's and have cruised a number of times on Princess, Celebrity, and RCCL but all to the Caribbean and all a while back.  We like the big ships with lots to do on sea days.  I just booked our bucket list cruise to Italy, Greece, and Croatia for September 2021 on the Norwegian Getaway.  (Balcony Deck 9)   Now I'm having second thoughts on going with Norwegian and wondering if there's one cruise line you would recommend for this itinerary over another?   I love the cruise ports we have but am worried about the ship not living up to the other lines we've sailed.  Thanks so much!

We will be arriving in Cozumel on the Century on Sat. Nov. 20 for most of the day. I've been reading about the different beaches and so far Nachi sounds like what we are looking for. A beautiful relaxing beach with lounge chairs, without too many little ones running around and a place we can eat and drink during the day without worrying about cost. The only thing I can't figure out is we really want the opportunity to snorkel right off the beach - has anyone done this before?

Are there any other recommendations for beaches? Paradise just looks too crowded for us, and there was another one that looked like the beach wasn't right there. I also looked at Passion Island but read it was a very long trip out compared to the actual time spent there. Has anyone done this island?
