We will be on the Holland America alaska cruise next May. We dock at 2:00 and the ship excursion to the gardens doesn't leave until 6:00. We sure would like to see the Gardens in daylight. I have found a company called ShoreFox that does a shuttle from the port and back, but can't find much about them. Any help would be appreciated

I believe it you want to pay extra Princess will haul your luggage to the airport and get it checked in. Don't remember how much

Is that two items total or two items per group? I don't have that much stuff that I could possibly get in a suit case, just a couple of album covers

We just returned from Fort Lauderdale and spent the night before our cruise at Hyatt Place. The rooms were clean, the breakfast good, and they have a free shuttle from the airport. Also for $7.00 a person there is a private shuttle that takes you to the pier. The group the shuttles by ship so you don't have to make a bunch of stops. The cost is similar to the Embassy and a little higher then the Renaissance but overall it is probably a better deal. Also within two blocks of the Harbor shops and next door to an outback.

Thanks for the response

Do you know if you bring some old album covers if the singers will autograph them. Don't want to try and back them if I am going to bring them back without an autograph

I called the flower power transportation number. They indicated they did not have the cost of the transfer to the ship but if it was similar to the Malt Shop Cruise it would be about 14 a person. Don't think a taxi would be much cheaper. Anyway for anyone that is interested.

I guess it is not that big a deal, as it is not that much to get a taxi. Guess I assumed and yes I will check it out.

I just tried to make reservations using the link on the flower power website, it says the block of rooms for 204 are full. But if you call the hotel you can get a room for 239. I had checked around and that is about average for that time of year in that area, plus they will take you to the ship

Signed up for this awesome cruise but was wondering, can you book shore tours just like a regular cruise or do you have to book them independently of the ship/cruise. Also on days we are in port, will they still be having activities and music while we are on shore, or is that reserved for the days or nights we are actually at sea.
