Don't expect anything. The ship has no bearing on what you receive as a new D.

 

We never received any block at 140 points. The very first pins we got was for D+. In fact only my wife got a second D+ pin on on our third D+ cruise.

 

RCI loyalty obviously has many flaws.

Hi there - I recognize your name from last year's TA on the Serenade.

We knew about the crystal block being awarded at the 140-point level so we sent an e-mail to C & A and received it a few weeks later.

There is also the "luggage tag" perk at D+. It's not an actual luggage tag for your name & address - just a 2" x 3" plastic card with an acrylic strap, for attaching to your luggage, identifying you as D+. We e-mailed C & A for these as well.

What? How was there really no way of letting them know? Isn't the Main Dining Room on the same ship as the buffet? There is a phone system OR you could walk to the MDR just to let them know. We have done the walk down just to be courteous to our waiters and tablemates. It's the only polite thing to do.[/QUOTE]

as a criminal, i really wish 2catsinflorida would not have made such a post, and ruined everything for me and those like me.

 

I happen to go on cruises with the specific goal of being seated with really wealthy people in the mdr of a cruise ship just hoping they will announce they won't be at dinner the following night. When i hear this, it creates my opening to do things. Bad things. Things that i can't explain here, but if you google "bad things criminals on cruises do when they hear people will be dining elsewhere the following night" you will figure it out for yourselves.
