We were on Enchanted Princess from March 7-27, 2024.  We brought 6 bottles of wine on board.  2 for our stateroom and 1 for each formal night.  The sommelier decanted the wine each formal night and only charged a corkage fee of $15 two nights.   

We sailed Majestic Princess in Alaska from August 26 to September 2nd.  We were in a club class  (Reserve Collection) mini suite and asked our stateroom attendant the second day on board if anything could be done about that light.  He said sure, and covered the sensor with duct tape.  Problem solved!  The other night lights weren’t a real problem.  

My DW and I booked the 2025 Iceland/Norway 14 night cruise through the 3 day sale agency yesterday.  We really only received $885 obc.  I agree that perks with this company used to be better during the 3 day sale,  but I’ll sure take the obc and we have an excellent TA.  We have been booking cruises with this agency for nearly five years.

What is the fastest and easiest way to get from Southampton to LHR post cruise? I understand that Smiths is no longer providing transportation.  We have a 12:30 pm flight.  Thanks.

• We spent 10 nights in a Premium suite (C102) on Enchanted Princess in March.  Lots of room and tons of storage space.  The balcony was nice and we didn’t notice any swaying and wind.  We would book the same suite again in a heartbeat.  

They also closed off deck 8 starboard side for quarantined passengers on the March 20, 2022 cruise.  Deck 9 I believe is used for crew coming onboard and needing to quarantine and for any crew member who tests positive.  

We were on Enchanted for 30 days in Feb/March 2022 in a premium suite.  Speak to your suite stateroom attendant, I’ll bet they will be able to accommodate you.  We found excellent service throughout the ship and we really enjoyed Club Class dining. Relaxing and enjoyable.  

It is interesting that most other cruise lines, other than those under the Carnival brand, have 2024 Caribbean cruises available to book.  Celebrity, RCL, Virgin Voyages, etc..

We received our Medallions a week or so ago for an upcoming cruise.  We received blue sea witch color, should have been platinum color, but we not only received one order of medallions we received 2 orders for the same cruise and both orders had the wrong color.  

We received an upsell offer from our TA this afternoon for one leg of our upcoming B3B.  The offer was for a lower end suite for $699 pp. We did not take the offer.

Thanks royalcruz.  We normally fly Delta and usually arrive in Terminal 2 I believe.  How far is the walk from Terminal 1 or 2?  It looks as if the shuttles aren’t running?

what terminal did you arrive in and if it wasn’t terminal 3, how did you get to terminal 3?

Take a look at Curative dot com.  There is a place about a 10-15 minute drive from the port, results in about an hour and can book a test at least two weeks in advance.  There are other testing sites, go to the Celebrity board and check the sticky on Covid testing.  

Curritive dot com is another testing location.  Looks to be about a 10-15 minute drive from the port (across the street from Broward County courthouse) and results in about an hour. It also looks like you can book a day/time 2 weeks out.  

It took us about 6 weeks to get refund on our b2b cruises in March 2021 that Princess cancelled.  

Thank you grumpyjr for the info.  Our next cruise isn’t until February 28, 2022 so a lot can change by then.  But this would give me an excuse to buy a laptop with a built in camera.  I do have an iPhone X but a laptop seems like it would be easier.  

I hate to sound dense, but what  kind of technology setup do you need to run this test?

We booked a 5 night Connoisseur cruise tour and 7 night southbound cruise on Majestic yesterday.  When we did the Denali Explorer cruise tour and cruise in 2019, we considered the meal plan but realized we wouldn’t come close to spending that kind of money, and we didn’t even come close.  My McKinley was a nice lodge but a number of people say that Copper River lodge is very nice as well.   
Every review I have read from people who have done the Connoisseur tour, have nothing but good things to say.  I can tell you that the Connoisseur tour we booked yesterday is around $1000 more than Denali Explorer cruise tour.  Hope this information helps.
